ilya
Whoever wants their thread to be in questionnaires? Lock this boy up Sorry this is kind of offtopic, but I just got back into RuneScape and got my account back. Needless to say I have nothing left, and my friends list is wiped clean. I've never had many friends in RuneScape and I think that's what made me quit before. If you could just take 10 seconds of your RuneScape type to just add me, and introduce yourself, I'll be very glad. Thanks. Everybody enjoys different aspects of RuneScape, including different monsters. Tell me your favorite / least favourite monsters, why and maybe some funny / interesting stories evolved around those monsters =D> Personal: Favourite: * Jellies - Definitely my favourite monster, due to high rate of clue's and for some reason they're really relaxing for me. Also the high opportunity of browsing forum.tip.it while killing these. But the reason they're number one is because of all the rune helm drops - I absolutely love them. * Dust Devils - Great xp, easy to kill, can read forum.tip.it while killing these and there's that slim chance of a red box. * King Black Dragons - I love the rush of killing these, even though I rarely get anything good. Still very exciting * Metal Dragons - Great mage xp + ability to read TIFF + good drops * Bloodvelds - I just like to slaughter these, make me feel good inside Hated * Black Dragons - Always Overcrowded and just plain UGH. * Chrocodiles - These are the worst things ever... EVER! * Wild Dogs - Get off me doggy, I'm not here to visit you. * Killerwats - Hit too high, drop nothing good. Have low hp - xp, and very frustrating * Revenants - Need I say more? P.S. Merry Christmas  P.P.S. Please don't move this to Questionnaires.
spooferfish
P.P.S. Please don't move this to Questionnaires. But its a question post... *Abyssal Demons. Good xp, good drops in charms, useful stuff, then the possibility of a whip. *Ice Warriors. No idea why I like these guys, I used to train all the time there. *Greater Demons. Wild dogs are annoying. One more level and they don't bug me anymore. *Fire Giants. 'Bout same as Greaters. Thats about all I got for now..lol

NuckingFuts
-The Wise Old Man (He's a monster, he touched me inappropriately) Thanks for the LOL's :) My list of beauties - Zygomite (Best name ever + I like how they chill as a tiny fungus) - Harpie Bug Swarm (The easiest slayer task I could wish for) - Abyssal Demons (These just look cool) - Trolls (I actually hate these... However I have had to kill around 500 now due to slayer tasks, so I am giving them some respect for reproducing on such a massive scale) - Mutated Bloodveld (They remind me of the headcrabs from Half Life - Making them the coolest things to roam around on Runescape)

I personally hate Zygomites - I lagged out there, and lost some stuff :) And I was thinking the same thing about Mutated Bloodies. P.S. Great Username. killerbeer0
Good thread, hate to see it moved to die. 1. Aviansies - Honestly, money, XP, tankability, available primarily to rangers (always a plus, melee gets plenty). 2. Mighty Banshee - Great drops, amazing safespots, impractical for melee users as well, and on top of that decent XP. 3. Brine Rats - Jagex smiled upon us. 4. Fire Giants - Good ranging XP and they pay for the supplies used. Can also be a slayer task providing loads of XP. 5. Red Dragons - Money, safe to kill, never crowded. And 5 least favorite (#1 is worst) 1. Aberrant Spectres - Massive annoyance, decent defense, slow task with little profit. 2. Wild Dogs - Such a pain, can be dealt with but really ruin some great training locations. 3. Hellhounds - Hard to access, slow XP, laaaaame drops. 4. Iron Dragons - Lame drops most of the time, huge defense, annoying task. 5. Cave Crawlers (the high level ones) - ruin a handy shortcut to the slayer cave. So annoying. OH S***! He/she/it is back! And to reply to your #1 mosts hated: I find Aberrant Spectres to be very good dropppers and fun to kill, but I have to agree with you on everything else. Dire_Wolf
1. Dagannoth (Waterbirth island, all types of dagannoths) Used to go to Waterbirth before GE and Tradelimit and get loads Spined set. I started at level 85 making them, and made so many and earned well on it. I sold Spined sets for 300-350K each, and sometimes i got 400K items. Very nostalgic place as i made Spined set from level combat 85 to 110 and made over 40+ Spined sets and sold them for 300-350K each. I also sold the Spined gloves easily for 25-65K each! I earned 2-3m each 3 days using Guthan down there... 2. Dust Devils (Chaos Tunnels/Smoke Dungeon Very easy monster, and great experience. Only monster that i bothered to camp for lots strength levels (Above 90). Great drops, experience and very weak, that's all i have left to say. 4. Magic axes Got 99 defence from them, very tight spot to level at. Had alot fun and made me be smart and invent a "Death Gear". Since they were at wilderness at level 56, i had alot pkers on me from time to time and i cud die 1-3 times every 10 min, 1 hour or 3 hours. A death gear is a inventory and equipment setup prepared for good training experience and dieing. It was based off this: Legend cape - can get as many as i wanted Climb boots- Easy to get Rune Plate- Will keep on death Rune Leg - Keep on death A amulet if possible Whip Food: Cakes, because that's revenge for pking me. Cakes is the worst pk food lol... Once i even nearly managed to kill a ancient who tried to pk me with cakes+Death gear! Nearly managed :ohnoes: :ohnoes: :ohnoes: But she ran away and i was a pk coward and did not want to get skull (Was a coward so didn't wanna loose whip), so i didn't attack back so easily. 4. Ankous Was where i got 99 attack, and great because i got lots runes and before summoning i used bone to peach. I also got to use Salve amulet (e) which i love. queenfelicity
 1. Jellies - The examines are so cute, and it's just fun to beat up a giant cube of jelly. \ 2. Dust Devils - Because they gave me a dragon chain last year 3. Turoths - I get so many of these for slayer, it's either like them or go insane. They drops lots of herb seeds, which is a bonus. 4. Brine Rats - They're so CUTE! 5. Chaos Elemental - Obviously. xD  1. Bloodvelds - When I went to Meiyerditch to kill them, I lagged out 3-4 times and just about lost all my gear. And they're ugly, too. 2. Kurasks - They give me nightmares. :( 3. Cave Horrors - Awful drops and they scare me. 4. Blue Dragons - They're always so crowded. D: 5. Tree Spirits - Because they have a vendetta against me.
Nel Tu Oderschvank
1. Jellies because they are one of the lowest levels to drop Lvl-3 clues. 2. Giant Spiders in Security Stronghold; got 99 Strength there with good ol' Rune scimitar. 3. Aviansies because it is solely for rangers 4. Banshees are decent for pure essence and herbs for lower levels. 5. Cave crawlers are okay for herbs as well but too bad they are poisonous. stormveritas
Do I have to pick just 5? 1. Dark Beasts - These guys are incredible. They're allergic to whips, so I can bury them, and they are fantastic experience sources. Their non-Dark Bow drops are solid, although I've never gotten a Bow. 2. Abyssal Demons - Wonderful, although incredibly stingy with whips. I'm working on my fourth 150+ task with no whip. Overall they've only dropped 2 / 3000 abbies for me, but their rune and pure essence drops more than make up for it. 3. Metal Dragons (Iron/Steel/Mithril) - I like getting all geared up for the Iron and Steel Trips, and Mith are fun even though I'm horrible at them. I've gotten a few pairs of D Skirts and D legs in my travels to Brimhaven, so they will always have a special place in my heart. 4. Blue Dragons - I adore Blue Dragons. They drop clues, some rune junk, and consistent 3.5K + / kill. To make things better, they also are only a hop and a skip from Falador. 5. Greater Demons - They were fantastic to range when I was going for 99. Imagine my glee when I found out how easy they are to melee as well! Kurasks are an honorable mention, I love them too. Riemis
Favourite: -Gaint Mole, something different in fighting, this one requires attention :D -Dark Wizards, I loved to kill these as a noob on rsc, hoping for a staff drop wich i could sell for 14 gp in zach's store =P~ -The Guards in front of burthrope castle, they give me tons of clues after killing like 5 of them xD -Lesser Demons, Best rsc f2p monster, always hoping for a rune med drop ;) -Red Dragons, great moneymakers every trip and NEVER crowded ^^ Worst: -Cockatrices, drop that *bleep* head :wall: -The Earth mage south of falador, he once killed me while i was a noob, lost my addy (t) full helm and kiteshield due to him :( -Surok, stupid mage attacks while killing Bork :( -Cyclopses, do you really want me to waste 2,5k tokens before i get a mith defender drop, and then drop an addy and rune within 10 kills? -The scorpion in varrock sewers, the first monster that killed me :( RuneScape Revolution (Dutch)
C110
1. Abyssal Demons - I think almost everyone under 85 slayer dreams off them. And even without the famous whip drops they got some nice loot and great xp! 2. Sp mages - Even now that the boots are a little under 300k I made quite alot money there. I got 83 slayer 4 days before they were introduced to runescape and sold my first 2 pair off boots for 2.5m each! 3. Dark Beasts - Sweet xp, more then decent drops (to bad Death Tallys are not worth anything anymore). 4. Nechs - I was so happy when I could finally kill them. Made lots of money there! (50+ boots when they were 200k ea). 5. Any boss monster, got to love them! - I'm not proud of everything I've done, but I have no regrets
Zeltax
2. Mighty Banshee - Great drops, amazing safespots, impractical for melee users as well, and on top of that decent XP. Like how you put that as a Pro ^^ OT: Gonna make my list, just gotta figure out the last 2 :-k Remember, remember, the fifth of November... ShaqAttaq
I like (not sure if there's any order) 1- greater demons. I'm not sure why, possibly because back when I started rsc they were the strongest monster at the demon's house in the wilderness. I remember going there standing at awe at the high levels slaying these huge beasts. 2- non metal dragons- for some reason I just love getting a task of non metal dragons, just something cool about killing them. 3- mutated bloodvelds- great cannoning spot and I think I only ever saw one other person there in all the times I've went 4- chaos dwarves- I don't fight these at all anymore but I remember fighting them a lot in rsc. The muddy key was always something fun to do. 5- dust devils- they're pretty easy to train on and have good drops and there's always that chance of a chain I dislike 1- gargoyles- terrible drops and annoying to kill 2- black demons- back in the rsc days these might have been in my favorites but lately 7/10 of my slayer tasks are black demons. I've been ranging them in chaos tunnels but I think I'll go back to the pre-summoning days of cannoning them in taverly because I just cannot stand having to range them for hours anymore 3- regular bloodvelds- always crowded, annoying to kill, terrible drops 4- skeletal wyverns- I did several tasks of them and there was just something about them I disliked, they're now on the "don't assign" list 5- hellhounds- don't drop jack, take long to kill, don't have lots of locations and just suck.
