January 1, 200917 yr I was curious and decided to see the votes from the poll on the RS site and I discovered this weird statement: Question 3 - What was your favourite new item in 2008? Dragon platebody 22% (13936 votes) And hereby the most favourite new item. Seems a little bit paradoxal to me, as I look at all the D plate rants and prizes. What I also find sad is that appereantly not many players listen to the music. It's a shame since some of them are really good. What are your opinions?

Most people that voted for the dragon platebody probably never owned one themselves. And I like my own music more, so I listen to that.
January 1, 200917 yr I also would rather listen to my own music, plus sometimes the in-game music lags me. Or at least it used to, I haven't had in-game music on in about a year. January 1, 200917 yr Whoever voted that Dragon plate is best item of 2008 must be a simpleminded person or either a person who like style or the tradition of Dragon items. I bet majority is the first... I don't listen to music but i like the Tzhaar one, it is pretty nice. Kinda rush to it.

January 1, 200917 yr As for the dragon platebody: with any updates, you usually find more complainers than praisers, even if majority of the users like the update. Why? Because when someone dislikes something, they usually feel the need to present their case and explain why. But if someone likes something, they don't really have a reason to make a post about it or share their opinion with the whole community. And while the RuneScape music can be good, it gets repetitive very quickly. The broom should have won!!!! :@:@:@ To be a bit more serious, it actually is one of the best choices, if you consider the average scaper. Not everyone has 92 FM and the adze doesn't look very cool, nor does it give anyone much recognition. The average scaper also doesn't do any hardcore slaying and most don't have the helm itself. Besides that, it's pretty overrated, it only has a significant advantage for two tasks (dust devils an cannoning spectators). D claws, look incredible dull IMO. Every time I see someone wearing them, I can hardly imagine they're weapons of mass ownage. The D plate however, looks very cool (IMO). It just has some kind of "wow" aura around it. Every time I see one, my first split second thought is "wow, nice". And that makes a useless item be pretty good. I agree, but only if you switch the platebody for a dragon chainbody... or a black dragonhide. *whistles innocently* Whenever I see someone in a d plate, my first thought is "yuck" instead - especially if he/she is also wearing dragon full helmet. My taste of fashion is odd, I suppose. :)
January 2, 200917 yr Slayer helm They need a new head of music for rs. I only like the songs, Zamorak Zoo, and the route of all problem and evil. Who doesn't love 400k free xp.

January 2, 200917 yr I chose the slayer helm. And tbh I hate the dragon platebody, most of the time I can't tell whether someone's wearing the plate or the chain.
