Why should they change it? They aren't saying anything racist or suggestively racist, you wouldn't ask them to change a quest cutscene where your character discovers a [racist term] in his/her armour due to some evil magic because it is racist would you...

Well Jagex have changed updates which havent needed a change in the past... they are very subject to pressure from the RSOF... :lol:

its the only thing about forums like this is theres a more select bunch of people, rsof i find is full of idiots trying claim mod-dom (WBMS) saying "wrong forum tern left at da armur sektion" and about 100 nublets posting suggestions like "light sabers in rs pls!11" i feel sorry for the RSOF because jagex have created a monster, its like playing cleanup, brilliant.

I am going to admit, the first glance I nearly thought it said :-#, but then I lol'd. Then to see I wasn't the only one :oops: It shouldn't be changed, however it probably will as it:

 

 

 

- Seems to be offensive to some people, purposely replacing the word with the racist term

 

- Knowing the RS community, people will start to use this in-game to try and to be racist people (such as "Hey, you niggle" and "GTFO niggles!". Seeing as they can't be banned, but people will know what they were trying to say. I know it sounds stupid, but I know it and you know it, its bound to happen.

 

 

 

Replacing the word to something else would be the best idea, but it makes me feel sad that is shouldn't have to.

Exactly. What Jagex have done is alert the RS community about a word that is not blocked by the censor, that can be used to replace a bad word :?
