Maybe you couldn't be bothered doing something like buying a bunch of construction supplies for the fremmy reward and said you'll do it later, then the next day the reward is reduce and you saved yourself 10m?

has this every happened to you?

or maybe it has always failed you...like buying a bunch of construction materials then saying ill make them into items tomorrow then you log on to find your reward is reduced

Not that I know of, but if I had procrastinated about doing WGS I would have lost a lot. In the end I got just under 14M for my shard.

I've procrastinated... aka delayed... alot. Most recent occasion was with Summer's End / WGS. I just said to myself every monday... "ok, this week I'll do summers end"... and by the time sunday came, I still hadn't done it. And so it repeated until like last month... finally did both in 2 evenings. But I could've gotten ALOT more for my spirit shield and shard, if I had done those quests on the first week of their releases. The rewards of wgs got me 4M, so it wasn't actually half bad. Free money and a terrific 400k runecraft xp. Still, I need to stop being so lazy. :(

I put off doing WGS quest for a week because I was busy with other stuff and now I got a worthless piece of dragon metal clogging my bank when I could have had up to 14m.

"We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape" Jagex 01/04/01 - 02/03/12

I didn't do WGS on the day of release, so ended up managing to sell my dragon piece just below the highest it went, rather than at the starting price.

In the end, I was lucky to sell my piece for a bit over 10M. I couldn't do the quest because my farming level was too low, untill 4 days after the release of the quest. At that time the d plate was already dropping. Since then I do stuff right when it comes out.

getting 89k maples( 110 ea) form MTK and then quitting, coming back to 44 ea.

Doing Summer's end a few days after release, got quite a lot of spirit shield splits for 100k+ on lootshare. \'

99 prayer... Always seemed to buy bones when they were at 2300 and then they always dropped down to 1800 right after. I swear, those bones knew when I was going to buy them...

And how has that saved you?

Didn't fall into buying Santa's before Christmas, nor did I buy a dragon plate. (For merchanting purposes)

Simply because I didn't want to log in, buy 'em, log out, then check the price everyday...

Kinda failing at merchanting these days... #-o

I was gonna go get some coal from the Mining Guild, but then I thought "Eh. It can wait 'til tomorrow."

The day I thought that was 06/06/06.

Lucky, eh?

Hehe, this is like Jagex telling half of Runescape players that they're [developmentally delayed]. Sort of. That's how I interpreted it. :P

Runescape is why I support abortion.

Not procrastinating has saved me. I did WGS the day it came out and got 13m for my shard. I did the Fally Diary the day it came out and could use assist for the runecrafting airs.
