We do not know if the same filtering algorithm and word-list is used by all servers.

All three are different I think, since I used to have trouble communicating with people in English worlds when I was in a German world.

Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. You want everything that's--falls off garbage can

Camera guy: Whoa, haha, are you okay dude?

Matt: You want the funny shit that happens here and there, you think it comes out of your [bleep]ing [wagon] pushes garbage can down, don't you? You think it's funny? It comes out of here! running towards Camera guy

Camera guy: runs away still laughing

Matt: You think the funny comes out of your mother[bleep]ing creativity? Comes out of Satan, mother[bleep]er! nn--ngh! pushes Camera guy down

They are different, but they also still all block obvious cuss words.

Porntown sexville asstrain

You can't say Porn or Sex on their own. Therefore, adding town, ville, or whatever, is evading the censor and is reportable.

Screwed is also uncensored now.

School WAS censored.

Stalk, stalker, and stalking were censored.

I think badass was bad***.

Dunno about badass, but school on it's own, wasn't censored. It was if you put something like "to" or "my" in front of it. Stalk wasn't censored but stalker and stalking were.

Stalk, stalks wasnt censored. I can be certain of that. Stalking was definitly censored.

Cottage summed up the school issue.

Stalk was censored I remember because I told my friend someone was stalking my cat and it *'d it out. It was a joke, but Stalk was *'d out.

stalking was, stalk wasnt. You said "stalking".

If our community was mature, then this would be a good update. Unfortunately, after marketing to lower age brackets for years, the majority is not. Though it may feel good to mutter the occasional expletive after becoming particularly vexed, this feeling is greatly mitigated by the realization that, in return, you will often see players spamming curses. Plus, we have a large player base with a small CS department. Even if claims that their service is not automated are true, with many players reporting words that they shouldn't to claim the coveted modship, some reports will be misconstrued. After all, we've already seen the occasional mute for starred out words or for things that, in context, are not at all offensive. Now, with the capability to mutter many curses, and having been forced to think of these things as taboo for years, overworked employees may mute or perma mute many undeserving players.

Given that some parents view RS as a safe, inoffensive game for their younger children, this sudden change may cause them to rethink their evaluation. And, after already alienating the older customers with the stigmata that the game is for kids, Jagex may see a sudden drop in membership and F2P.

If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system.

Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased.

The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."

The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?

I can understand that under the right context a lot of those words can be harmless, "Zammy's gonna kick [wagon] today!" But what about porntown? I never even heard of that term.

Woah, I think too many F2P'ers are saying such phrases as "lick my [wagon] crack", this update needs looking at imo. :?

F2P's? Yesterday I saw a lvl 118 member auto-talking something like:

"@@@@@Jagex sucks [wagon]@@@"

"@@@Get a life noobs@@@@@@@"

"@@@@@@@Runescape sucks@@@@"

However, it didn't take me long to reach the "Report Abuse" button :P

And today I saw a lvl-50 member in Edgeville yelling:

"Suck my"

"P"

"U"

"S"

"Y"

If they want to swear they should at least spell it right :P Report Abuse button was quick this time too however!

In my opinion, all It does if give a list of words that immature people can find and spam in game.

Then REPORT THEM and move on with your effing life.

Ffs, some noobs spamming in game ain't gonna kill ya; Jagex also put in chat settings (Public, Friends, Off) for a reason.
