Can you dig through someone's chest cavity with the corner of a circle? No? Why not? Because circles don't have sharp corners.

but a pizza cutter is sharp and it's a circle.

That has the addition of a sharpened edge. I'm talking straight-up, unadulterated geometry.

And yes, it would be triangle. But square also.

my pizza cutter is just a metal circle that tapers to a thin blade edge around the edge, like a knife but a circle

Precisely. It's been sharpened. Not every circle is as sharp, but find me a cornerless square and I'll make my [wagon] sprout wings and fly me into space.

No, cornerless square=octagon. Or another square if you cut off the whole side diagonally.

fair enough, give me a few seconds to think and then fail. In the mean time, I must say that my pizza cutter is nothing more than a very thin piece of metal, shaped in a circle. It's thinness is what makes it sharp, not its refinement. If we assume that it would get sharper as it thins out, then we can say that all drawn circles (2 dimensional) have no width, and therefore, are infinitely sharp.

If the circle that you've drawn is made of metal, not paper. Oh, wait.

But make a square out of anything, and you'll still have a pointy corner.

Circles,

I have a deep fear of corners stemming from a childhood tragedy :(

Doesn't need to be sharp to cause an injury, hammers do blunt objects justice in terms of that. It's a circle, but it can still smash someones head to pieces :D

pffft.

90 degree pointy.

My circly curved [wagon] !

90 degrees is as sharp as a hippo in a fox suit.

Its a sharp as getting a badger and putting a moustache on its face and a pipe in its mouth.

Definitley not sharp !

Tbh I would rather get a metal cut than a paper cut. Depending on the depth of injury of course.

Smash, yes, but as I said before: can you dig through a chest cavity with a circle? No. Why? because it has no points to dig in with.

Are we talking 2-D objects here, or 3-D? Because you certainly can't do jack with a sphere. But a cube would be even more useful in that aspect.

And a mustachioed badger with a pipe would be pretty sharp ;)

Circle. Without the wheel, we'd still be back in the stone ages.

How does lack of circles = lack of metal, silicon, plastics, and other man-made building materials.

Circles are pulleys, wheels, coins, gears, grindstones....Basically everything that humans have used to evolve.

Oh. If we didnt have circles, we use almost identical rectangles 8-)

cus we invented the wheel first

and there would be lack of oil with out the circle.... the drill?

and would we get teh square without the circle?

AND if it wasn't for the circle, we wouldn't have pi!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both are equally as important as the other, really. Although circles are used more often than squares in life (Cars, bikes, CD's, etc.)

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

Circle. Greatest thing ever. Think wheels, turbines, compressors - things we take for granted every day are cricles.

Squares aren't as good. In construction triangle and 45 degrees provide more stability.

Think outside the box Lenin, no pun intended.

A sphere of highly dense metal can make for a good blunt weapon or a good throwing weapon

I agree. In terms of sharpness, 90 degrees is nothing special.

I was taught that the real essence of sharpness doesn't even start until around 65 degrees.

I like squares better. If you stand it up on one of it's points, it looks like a diamond. Can't beat diamonds, a girl's best friend!
