Acheivment Diaries: what they have to offer + future diaries

I think people are forgetting the benefit of the Fremmy boots when it comes to MTK

if you do MTK then the boots are totally FTW

i just wish they didn't kinda make it look like you're wearing sandals and have wicked bad frostbite

Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. I wish he wouldn't leave that thing lying around. -.-

You actually get profit + exp... About 70k per day.

Every diary is worth doing and the equipment is great, except of this last one. The seer's headband is something i wouldn't want to wear.. I think it should be replaced with something that matches the shield and armour.

They should have been smart about it. Ie, when you complete the easy tasks you get the headband. When you complete the medium tasks you get a Medium Helmet. And when you complete the hard tasks you would get a Full Helmet.

I would have preferred headband -> circlet -> coronet/crown which would have made sense considering that camelot is right there and King arthur could have been the person to give you your final reward.

I think the huge amount of dissatisfaction with the fact that the headband never changes may be enough to convince Jagex to change that.

OT: I personally love the Achievement Diaries. I like completing the tasks, for it are things you won't do that often when you're higher level, especially the things from the Lumby Diary and the Easy/Medium tasks. Also it makes you do a lot of different things, from cutting a tree to making a fire with a familiar. I have completed all of the Diaries, except for the new Seers' one, but I've only got 4 Medium tasks left to do, so I'll have that one completed soon.

dragon drops: 2h, Med (x4), spear (x3), legs (x3), skirt, left half

barrow drops: 45+ GWD drops: 1x steam, 1x bandos plate, 1x tasset, 4x shard

I think that pretty much confirms it. Gnome Stronghold will be the next diary.

Varrock came out right after Karmaja, and it was #1. They skipped Seer's and went stright to Falador and Fremminik, but then came back to it. Don't know about Lumbrdige, since it wasn't on the list but was the third to come out. Next on the list is the Gnome Stronghold. I'd bet money on it.

Necklace:

Cape: (Achievement cape?)

Legs:

Arrows?:

I highly doubt there is going to be a release for arrows. However, there are three remaining choices (Ardy, Gnome and Burthope) and three remaining item slots (neck, cape, and legs). Now I REALLY hope that there will be a diray cape, and that it will trim my quest cape  Especially sicne the reqs for the diaries are quite high. 70 farming, 80 fletching, 80 cooking, 70 prayer, 66 runecrafting, 75 firemaking, 73 smithing, 65 magic, 72 slayer, etc.

Also, I can't complete the Varrock medium. I've done hundreds of rock samples in the museum, but none of the give me the ruby necklace :wall: It's my last req, and I can complete the hard already (will boost farming with stranger plant, will spicy stew the smithing.

Assisted the runecrafting req before Jagex fixed it  Potted most toher things. Must get 80 cooking though, apparently :(

That "sentence" was typed the way it was as a joke, and one you obviously didn't get. Also there are at least three grammatical errors in your post, not counting misused punctuation.

OT: I think Ardougne is probably a more likely next release than the Gnome Stronghold area. To be honest, there really isn't that much to do in either of these places. So I think it will be interesting to see how they work this out. As for as arrows go, I think they may come out with a visible quiver to take that position, although how this would clash with the accumulator does pose an issue.

It says right in that poll that the 3rd diary was going to be content they were alreayd working on...So thats why Lumby was third.
Off topic: Mazgar, dont forgot, untill 2 days ago, you didnt use any punctuations AT ALL. :-)

Haha, true, but I did still make an effort to use proper grammar. I also tend to take the time to type better when I've been sleeping, which for the past couple nights, I have been. I hate insomnia.

regardless of grammer, he makes a great point with this poll.

3 slots left and 3 areas left in this poll?

I have a feeling trollhiem/gwd might be the last one

Considering it only got 3% of the vote I'm not so sure. I think a desert or morytania diary is more likely considering the GWD really is pretty much the only thing to do in that area.(if one comes out and it says take a task from turael/his replacement i will be SERIOUSLY annoyed)

Read the first paragraph in the Achievement Diary page on the Runescape website it tell you the last 3 diaries

Mort Myre = Necklace

Wilderness = Weapon

Keldagrim = Leg Amour

Its too easy. :P

nice find.

The lands of RuneScape are varied and picturesque. Even the fetid swamps of Mort Myre and the blasted wastes of the Wilderness possess their special charms for those who care to look. Of course, the scenery isn't everything, and each land has its specialties: from the mines of Keldagrim to the plants and animals of Karamja. If you're a wee bit bored and fancy a few small challenges, you might like to check out your Achievement Diary to see what the people of those lands do to prove their proficiency in all things.

I don't see that as a find. It's been there since the first diary was released. It's just saying that there are interesting things to do everywhere in Runescape, and that many of those out of the way places have things that players overlook. If you notice, The only diary that has been released from that list is Karamja. There is no mention of Varrock, Lumby, Fally, Seers, or Relleka in that, and all of those places have diaries.

To be honest the KB really isn't a very good source of reliable information about the future of Runescape. It leads to more unfounded speculation than anything else.

I think it's interesting and has potential to be true, therefore I added it as speculation. I never said it was going to be true I just figured some people may be interested by reading it.

It is not impossible for there to be a arrow slot.

It doesnt have to be stackable first of all, and it doesnt have to be "visible". For example, the lumby ring. People cant tell if youre wearing it or not, but its still there. I believe they will do something similar for this.

Also, Ardy and Gnomelands may get connected together. If not, I imagine the gnomelands will include elven lands too.

Probably Piscatoris, the Eagle's area, and the Hunter areas nearby also. Personally I would love to have a visible quiver that could have a use that would make it a possible alternative to the ever popular accumulator. Maybe something like occasionally firing 2 arrows at once, but only costing you one arrow, or being able to hold multiple types of ranged ammunition in the same slot, and being able to switch between them without taking up extra inventory slots. That would be very useful if you're using diamond and ruby tipped bolts against a boss.

oooohhh that would be cool. So you're saying that you can put ammunition into a quiver and put the quiver into your arrow slot? That would be awesome

Yeah i could think of a TON of examples for those areas, it's just a matter of what jagex decides to choose from

I agree with you: The diaries are great! They're funny and the tasks are varieted. There is something for everyone in them. And not enough with that, you get good xp and very nice rewards as well!

You might be right in that Jagex plans to complete the set with equipable items, but I think that they will also soon start adding non-equipable items as rewards for diaries.
