Mum refused to look at it last night because there was a little bit of blood on there, what a wimp :-o Anyway, its clean and blood free now, so I can go get her to put Vaseline on it for me now :-P The picture is a little blurry of the tattoo, but that's OK. It is on the back of my right shoulder. [hide=][/hide] My friend actually turned around and said, "it looks nice, but I don't get why you had the red put on it" Errm..... that's taken literally after he has stopped doing it, its not red any more lol. Here is my first tattoo.... it is on the back of my left shoulder, and is a leo symbol in a dream catcher... my friend designed it for me. [hide=][/hide] It's OK if you don't like them :-) I have not told dad I have gotten the new one, I am planning on not telling him for a while to be honest. I dont wear shirts that show it off (I don't have them to show off tbh) so it wont be until september that he may possibly see me with anything showing off my back (my brothers wedding I have to wear a dress that quite possible will be strapless) so it can wait until then. Its snowing again, we are due 8 inches, hopefully it doesnt get that much, people seem to be freaking out at the slightest bit of snow at the moment. The 4 year wait, I knew i wanted another, but didn't know what, which is why I waited so long. evil_mumm_ra Posted February 6, 2009 Share Posted February 6, 2009 that's my tattoo, i've got a whole design planned out for my back, in which i need 6 more designs, but i only have one picture figured out, and i don't have the money for any of it atm. that was summer of 07 i got that, i definately will get my back finished within 5 years hopefully. just gotta get the money saved up (total cost i'm estimating at $1.2k - $1.5k including the $200 spent on this one) and gotta figure out what i want. tattoos are definately not for everyone though, some people won't accept them, other people love them. i'm kinda in between, i don't wanna get covered with tattoos as of now, i just want my back designed how i want, further than that, i'll see when it comes to it, if i still want more after i get my back finished, i'll get more. your tattoos look nice, reminds me of my sister's tattoos, her's are all simplistic but nice as well, she has 2 or 3 now. Yes, it's expensive, but it generally is in Norway. Besides, the studio I'm going to use is one of the best in Norway. Sorry to hear about your dad Tribal. 2 hours of work, a fair amount of ink as well, plus they had to take the time to take the picture i gave them, and sketch it into a stamp with outlines of sorts for my back. sounds entirely fair to me, although there is this new place that my sister and husband got their newest tattoos at that is a bit cheaper, i'll probably go there for my next one. "Your Anger Is A Gift" running from my stomach back towards my spine diagonally and a 7-pointed Star on my calf with "Forty Six & Two" written inside of it. I have an upper arm sleeve planned for this summer. The guy I know really likes Alex Grey, so it should be a good time getting it. Here's a picture of it. It's going to be a full wrap around and expensive as hell, but I'll be working for the County this summer and making pretty good money. And yes I like tattoos, I have two, my fiance' has 4 and we're a part of the biggest motorcycle riders group in Australia, so we see plenty of them ;) The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
