The teacher erased it but not very throughly and you could see the words some wat. (it was a dry erase board). So during the test everyone was looking on the board. On day of my history final, there was a board up behind me. ( it was a class project). runesmithie Posted August 2, 2005 Share Posted August 2, 2005 i always always copy homework if i didnt do it...or if no1 would give it to me id schedule my day in such a way that id do it on my own b4 that class....IMO thats not necessarily cheating...bc homework is so pointless and easy Yeah, homework really does get annoying after a while (especially if you're considered 'Gifted' (with a capital G ;) )) I usually learn the concept while its on the board and get annoyed at having to do 2-3 reinforcement activities when I could have been catching up on Biology or Spanish homework last year (they had so much homework it was horrible... and biology almost required you to have a computer so the kids without were pretty screwed. Our spanish teacher really didn't know spanish since we were doing it off a satellite program andthought we would learn by throwing worksheets at us everyday... she always wondered why we had the lowest grades in the region:roll: ) (on a sidenote, I'm entering 11 too BMW 8) ) I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam. Im a failure :cry: (slightly did cheat in math this year... We had homework to do like every week, which was like 300 questions a week. I didnt like doing them cuase it took soooooo long, yet it was easy. If we've Math or History you always see everybody at our place(our daily place were we sit :D )copy from the answer book cuz it's boring and the questions are stupid. Also we had a pen that light infra-red(or something like that in English),so you could wright a text but it was impossible to see something..so during a test you just shine with your light and you can see all the answers...simple and there is not even 1 teacher that saw the light :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
logic-is-overrated Posted August 2, 2005 Share Posted August 2, 2005 I don't know what the foreign version of circuit city is, but in our circuit city you can buy an invisible ink pen that comes with a built in uv light for really cheap. Write down the answers on a piece of paper in the invisible ink. Teacher walks buy and sees a blank sheet of paper and you just tell him/her that you like to have a sheet of scratch paper just incase and during the test just flash the light, get the answers, and write the answers down in regular ink on your paper. That's not to say that I've never wanted to, mind: I've always felt tempted to look at other peoples' answers when sat next to them -- never in a serious exam, of course -- but I've not really done it. The thing is, I've either not thought the subject matter important enough to learn, or I've.. learnt it; simple as that, really. I suppose I want to know how well I'm likely to do in the final exam, where I won't be able to cheat. [nostalgia] Oh, actually, I'm lying: a friend of mine cheated all the time in German :D. Oh... those were funny lessons. Still, [own trumpet blowing] we were miles ahead of the others, and got the top marks of the year* [/own trumpet blowing] so we weren't doing it for any reason other than for fun. [/nostalgia] *not that that was much of an achievment: instead of set system (i.e. bottom set, middle set, top set) we had three "mixed" groups. Last year when I took algebra 2 we were learning the unit circle and we took a BIG quiz which is almost like a test. The quiz was filling in the ratios and some problems on the back. We start and I realize that my teacher has left the unit circle up on the board to my right. I was seriously confused because normally she takes so many precautions. (OK - so Rimmer's attempt becomes a hilarious anecdote of failure, but never mind..that's fiction) You guessed it...Physics GCSE = A's ville. Tips: Arms are the best. Clench knuckles entirely - unfold to reveal formulae. Long sleeve shirts are pro. You know where the cuff of the sleeve is? With the little slit where the cufflink/button is? Opens and closes like a dream. Inside of trousers are good. I still have the white underpants that gave me the formula for acceleration and force/mass/weight. Inside of eyelids are...nah I'm taking the michael on that one :P Oops, dropped my pen! Reach down to get it, pull up the trouser tassles for quick revision notes. These make poverty history bands would be dynamite now. Just write some info on the reverse side. Alas, 2004 = suckzor. Oh yeah, the white bit inside the school tie - that's a good'n. One answer though I had to write "I - AM - A - FISH". Just had to. I even gave it the Rimmer salute when I left the exam hall. Happy days :) This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. Mostly because I found it all way too much work :P and besides that I can learn things quickly enough by just reading the stuff once without making homework about it. Ok, I'll admit: most of the time you'll only know it in your short term memory this way and forget much of it quickly. But who cares :P. After all, now that I'm done with secondary school, my impression about it stays that it's all solely about the notes and nothing else, even though the teachers tend to tell you the opposite at least 8396986 times during your schooltime. :roll: I never cheated with exams though, my grades were fine enough. Besides, people wanted to copy my stuff 99% of the time, mainly by math and physics. I did cheat with boring projects or orals though - I just hate them because they demand a lot of time and you barely learn anything from them.. Anyway, I guess my most interesting cheat was last year. We had to read 12 books for a very important oral about dutch literature. Before the orals, the teacher warned everyone that she would "Surely notice it during your oral if you didn't read one of your books". Considering teachers oftenly lie about such things I took the risk anyway, by not reading 7(!) of the 12 books. :lol: The oral went smooth, she didn't notice anything (obviously I did read some summaries on the books I didn't read at all). Even got a 7/10 for the oral. :lol: I wonder how things are going to go next school year at university. Gonna study math & computer engineering if you wonder. :) The value of my bank at its height. I tend to stop people from taking my answers, unless a friend needs them. But in maths (by far my worst subject) I have a good friend who sometimes helps me out. They never picked it up. Suprising aswell considering the fact that they were marked by the same person. *shrug* Other than that I haven't cheated on much. Might've etched a few things into the desks at school before an exam just in case. There's been the occasional time where the teacher has left things up on the wall (like periodic tables and whatnot) which have helped. That's basically about it. The teacher is no help during class and just gives us busywork, and at the end of the week it's test time. I (always) read the chapter twice just so all the info soaks in and get 95 - 100% on all of the tests, usually. People want answers from me a lot of the time so I give 'em a few. I don't mind if it's a few answers, but some people ask for the entire test, something I would never do. At the end of the year it was time for the AP test and I got a 4/5 (highest score in the calss :)). Just goes to show it pays to study since I'll be getting college credit 8) To answer your question, I have never cheated but have aided others (which is just as bad).
