This is type of development diary that i was looking forward too!!

Bloody fantastic JaGex, can't wait for it.

What are your thoughts on this what seemed a simple procedure?

Much better development diary. Short but sweet. Not just short and terrible. There was some actual interest to read and nice to know of its progress..

I liked it and hope for more of this kind than the last one we had.

(Doubt it be regular for any more than 2 months though. Sweet if they keep their word this time.)

I like this DD, this is the kind of DD that we want to see, not that "hi guys, look a quest I'm starting. Sup". Every time I hear mention of Andrew Gower's content team (that write runescript) I think of four hooded men descending into a room somewhere far beneath the Jagex towers.

"Hey Andrew, can we get that Runescript update to support dungeon maps?"

"Absolutely. Mod Slake...We will need another live chicken. I will go sharpen the blade of updating."

More importantly,

Finally, Mod Wayne and Mod Marx0i0 are working on graphical improvements to the dungeons that are being mapped. Many of these dungeons were never designed to be seen from above, so their edges looked kinda tatty.

Ie: Mod Wayne puts his shopping list in the previously unseen map.

I hated the first DD, but to be honest, I like this one. If they continue this way it will be awesome!

- I'm not proud of everything I've done, but I have no regrets

I like this DD and what it's about (dungeon maps yay \' ). And more importantly it'll cool off the people ranting about how we only get one stupid DD every three months/years/whatever. The last one was kinda rubbish, but they made it up with this one. Now they only need to maintain this quality and keep pumping 'em out every other week or so.

Due to my epic stats, I have now started WGS (but I still hate spoilers).

That literally made me laugh out loud.

Seriously though, this is an excellent DD and will be not only a fairly wide reaching update, but also an immensely useful one when it's implemented. Well done shadowy, hooded ones. =D>

THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

Meh, two pictures and a paragraph more, why the hell can't they make them as long as all the other DD's.

Pretty cool though, I like the dungeon maps a lot ::'

Well It did say with the first DD, that these are a "new line of development diarys."

#-o

I don't know which mod did this. I don't know why they did it. If they're looking for money, I can tell them I don't have any as I'm a student. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over 4 years of RuneScape. Skills that I have worked hard for and people like them can't take them away. If they give me my particles back now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for them, I will not pursue them. But if they don't, I will look for them, I will find them, and they won't like what'll happen

It's gonna be AWESOME

I mean...No offence to tip.it's maps, but i find that it would be a lot easier to open a map in

the game window, rather than open a new window and then search for it ;)

Finally, Mod Wayne and Mod Marx0i0 are working on graphical improvements to the dungeons that are being mapped. Many of these dungeons were never designed to be seen from above, so their edges looked kinda tatty. When theyre done, we'll send the project off for testing. Hopefully, it'll be with you soon and you'll find it helpful.

On the RSOF sticky thread there's a list of which maps they're doing:

I may as well post the list of maps that we're planning to launch:

RuneScape surface (i.e. the existing map)

Misthalin underground

Taverley Dungeon

Dwarven Mines

TzHaar area

Zanaris

Dorgesh-Kaan

Keldagrim

Chaos Tunnels

Karamja Underground, including Brimhaven Dungeon

Braindeath Island (no reason really)

Slayer Cave

Tolna's Rift (post-quest)

Kalphite Hive

Mos Le'Harmless Cave

Pollnivneach Well

Stronghold of Player Safety

Stronghold of Security

Lair of Tarn Razorlor

Asgarnia Ice Dungeon and nearby basements

Godwars

Waterbirth Island

Yanille Dungeon

Ardougne underground

White Wolf Mountain underground

Miscellania underground, including other nearby islands

Ourania altar

Troll Stronghold

Wilderness dungeons, including KBD

Mole Hole

It's mostly the big combat training dungeons.

If Jagex keeps communicating at this rate, I'm not going to miss the BTS.

For that matter, the dev made a post with a timestamp of 3.45am. That's... nice, but a bit sad.

This is much better than the previous excuse for a DD. Now we actually have some proper information. Hopefully they will remain this frequent and will become longer and more detailed as the updates advance through the system.
