April 5, 200917 yr Depends on whether you want a super easy 99, a cheap (gathering) 99 or a more challenging one. Fishing is probably a good in between, its not super easy but you make money doing it. But it takes forever :P

April 5, 200917 yr If I were you I'd go for woodcutting. Your name + woodcutting cape = awesome. Plus WC is a good first cuz its free and not nearly as long as fishing.

Willows/teaks are generally acknowledged as fastest (some say teaks are faster some slower) but definitely use a strung rabbits foot (more nests) and cut at either Barbarian outpost (where I did-not usually too full) or draynor. If you get bored get a level on yews or something to change it up and make some money.

April 5, 200917 yr you probably dont want wcing to be your first.. if you planning on playing runescape for years to come, start off with an easy skill, it will teach you to accept the monotnous process of achieving 13mil exp. firemaking, fletching, cooking, theiving.. wcing is a possibility, but its not even worth all that time. a 99 theive who knows all the good spots is better than a mediocre 99 wcer any day.
