[edit] On Irreversible... The first 30 minutes of the film has a background noise with a frequency of 28Hz (low frequency, almost inaudible), similar to the noise produced by an earthquake. In humans, it causes nausea, sickness and vertigo. It was the main cause of people walking out of the theaters during the first part of the film in places like Cannes and San Sebastian. Still, this movie,manipulative as it is, doesn't leave you indifferent which is always a good thing.

But everybody loves Monty Python. :lol: Well, if she doesn't laugh at it at least you know that she's got a good sense of humor. :) And Meet Joe Black, what the hell. That's one boring movie, if you want her to be asleep within 30 minutes you should put it on. It also has Marcia Gay Harden, which is a reason not to watch it. Stardust is alright, especially if she's into elves and so. Donnie Darko might be a nice thing to watch. It's a pretty interesting movie which gives you something to talk about afterwards, it involves teenagers which makes it easier to relate to (I assume you're a teenager), it also has a little romance and lots of laughs. Some good music too. Lust, Caution is worth a watch as well. The movie itself isn't very interesting, but it has got some good sex scenes. Apparently not since he put it on the list. You have got to find out what type of stuff your girlfriend finds funny, and there is a bit of everything in Monty Python.

I can foresee the date ending like Travis Bickle's date in Taxi Driver, he'll have to go mad to even get her to talk to him again lol. April 12, 200917 yr Into The Wild A great movie. I really loved me and it had influenced my thinking about life. If you two like movies with powerful messages, this is the one for you.
