April 12, 200917 yr Let The Right One In. Good movie, its in another language (Swedish I think) so you'll have to read subtitles, but its great. Woahhh someone else knows of random Swedish Vampire Horror Romances besides me?? Yeah if she hates movies with creepy children and lots of blood, i wouldn't go for Let the Right One In..but horror movies are generally a good pick as long as you're ok with em Everyone knows about Let the Right One In. I second Carlo's suggestion, Stardust would be great for a first date. Enchanted wouldn't be bad either, if you don't like that sort of movie at least you get to look at Amy Adams for an hour and a half. Of course you could always go for a classic: The Princess Bride.
April 13, 200917 yr Almost Famous, Donnie Darko, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, YES MAN (this is probably my number one offering now that it's out), uhhh ... Those are probably the best ones I can think of. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
April 13, 200917 yr Marley and Me isn't that nice to watch with a g/f. It's kinda depressing Stardust is fantasy/adventure/comedy so it's a nice flick. But if you fulfill these prereqs: - you're watching the movie late at night (past 10) - you're watching it in the basement w/ no one around - she hasn't seen the movie yet Watch this movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435625/ I saw that movie w/ a girl at midnight and even I got creeped out by some scenes. When you feel her death grip on your arm you know you did things right. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
April 13, 200917 yr Cannibal Holocaust. If you want to watch something like that you might as well go all out and watch Salo. Makes Cannibal Holocaust look like Toy Story.
April 13, 200917 yr Lust, Caution is worth a watch as well. The movie itself isn't very interesting, but it has got some good sex scenes. Is that the best criteria for choosing a date movie though? I can foresee the date ending like Travis Bickle's date in Taxi Driver, he'll have to go mad to even get her to talk to him again lol. Yea, but that's thirty years ago! Girls have changed! Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
April 13, 200917 yr True, that sort of movie may just become a how-to guide on a date today. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
April 13, 200917 yr You know Lust,Caution was like heavily censored here? They cut like 15 minutes from it.Made me giggle how many people got scammed off that. so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! (german ftw)I'm invulnerable to everything, except Lenin and Dragoonson. That's impossible. I love people.[/hide]
April 13, 200917 yr Can't go wrong with Casablanca. "He could climb to it, if he climbed alone, and once there he could suck on the pap of life, gulp down the incomparable milk of wonder."
April 13, 200917 yr Let the right one in is a pretty popular movie... I wouldn't want to watch a Monty Python movie with a girl by the way. Whoever came up with that: bad idea. But everybody loves Monty Python. Well, if she doesn't laugh at it at least you know that she's got a good sense of humor. :) And Meet Joe Black, what the hell. That's one boring movie, if you want her to be asleep within 30 minutes you should put it on. It also has Marcia Gay Harden, which is a reason not to watch it. boring for you, but the girlfriend will more than likely enjoy it... plus the movie gives the opportunity later for some cheesy lines to give her, lol.
