BH comes out you'd expect sharks, pots, weapons all to rise, and so they do for the first day. Therefore i did what most merchers would do and i bought 30k raw sharks and 6k Super strength's.

 

 

 

Next day i see that both of these products have plummeted causing a loss of approximately 2m, bear in mind this is jst the first day and they will continue to fall.

 

 

 

So IMO we should round up these M@£#%& F#@£&%8! and stick a bomb right in the middle of them.

I dont like merchanting clans myself, but you still had a bad timing on when to buy sharks.

Let me get this straight, you fail at merchanting and now all merchant clans are bad. If you had made millions would the clans be awesome? Sounds like sour grapes to me.

Nah i keep a log i bought them on 4th May when they were JUST rising.

Bad timing really, and you can't blame this on the merchanting clans, this is your own fault.

True, I didn't include the other stuff i bought in my first post, but that doesn't change the fact there being dumped.

You can thank the failed GE for these scam clans. The clans are failures, I doubt even 20% of the people in them actually make money.

lol they don't, a while ago I figured I would try and make some money off of these silly merch clans, but failed because no one keeps to the "drop date"/ "dump price" so whatever, it just made me realize that only the people who dictate the item actually make money, because if you look at the item right on the day they announce it, it has already been increasing for the past day or two, implying someone *cough* was buying up all of the available ones. zzz so whatever back to mining rune for me \

I hate them also. O.O I'm an average everyday skiller, mostly self sufficient. I don't merch, cause I know from past experience that I fail at it. :P Anyways, there was a time when I was trying to buy snap seeds, because I was raising farming. And know what? It took me THREE DAYS to buy LESS THAN 100 snap seeds. Is that normal? No. Highly inconvenient? Yes! I can't just go pick up snap seeds for myself to use. They are stupidly annoying, and I think everyone should lay off of the OP. Who cares if he made a bad decision in merching? He's complaining about the CLANS and how they mess with the GE and the prices and VERY FEW people benefit and EVERYONE ELSE loses. And there's nothing anyone can do because they aren't even breaking any rules.

Didn't you realise that a lot of people thought OMG BH so bought sharks well in advance expecting them to go up , and then after reaching a peak sold....

 

 

 

THIS WAS NOT THE WORK OF MERCH GROUPS , this was purely anticipation for an update or date.

 

 

 

The same happens every haloween / christmas , People expect them to go up so buy 2 weeks before because they believe it will be up by that date ... AS loads of people do this the price skyrockects but then they realise ooo i can sell now and make a profit , inturn the market gets flooded and the price goes down before the actual event.

Haha this happened to me as well. Bought 10k sharks at min 955 ea. Then they were 1013 but wouldn't sell. Next day they were 948 mid. So I sold them all by hand on PVP worlds 1k ea and would have made a profit if I didn't trade 3.5k or so of them for 2 whips. I sold 1 whip for cash and a regen bracelet, and the other for cash and 20 rune boots.

 

 

 

Sold bracelet for 255k at min, and still have 18 rune boots, which are just plummeting.

 

 

 

Last time I tried to merch was so long ago I forgot how bad I was at it, so I guess I learned my lesson again.

Its sad how people throw around words as insults these days. Someone isnt an idiot for being smarter than you and dumping, infact, YOU'RE the idiot.

I have nothing against the clans per say...but I do hate when they spam their clan chats -.-. Absolutely hate that. Ignore list fills up faster then a pot of coffee.
