D mace is alot better than dds for pking yes?

Featured Replies

So, conclusions:

-Dragon Longsword: Accuracy + Damage Boost, Slow, not very consistent

-Dragon Mace: Decreased Accuracy, Great Damage Boost, Slow, not very consistent

-DDS: Decreased Accuracy, No change in damage, hits 2x per spec, poisons, faster than both of the above, quite consistent

Dragon longsword: Hits less than all of them, slow, only advantage is accuracy.

Dragon mace: Yea...

DDS: Increased accuracy AND damage, and hits 2x.

O.O

i prefer the dds because although i dont have equal experience with both weapons i like how many more total hits the dds has to the mace and coupling that with the speed of the weapon and the speed of the specials makes it hard to fight back against and if u can consistently hit hard with the dds they cant eat fast enough

DDS is better than dmace and dlong, no questions about it, not even debateable. DDS has better max, better average, faster speed, poison for a little extra damage (raises your average damage per minute by 18 damage or so), ect ect.

Dclaw and AGS are the only two melee weapons that can compare to dds KOs.

Dude, don't say it's not debateable.

Thats for hunting monsters, against other people it's a different story.

Read the title...PKING.

you made me get off the iphone and boot up my piece of [cabbage] laptop for this, thanks [wagon].

Do the math. Dmace is what, 30% damage boost? The dds spec is a 100% damage boost. Dmace spec reduces accuracy. DDS increases accuracy. DDS is 20% faster, less chance for the target to eat up or react, better damage laydown. There's poison to the deal as well.

There's no comparison between two.

Dmace has some cool looking hits but it's [cabbage] for pvp.

DDS is about 25% damage boost.

Dragon: Dragon Platelegs x2 , Dragon Plateskirt x2, Dragon Boots x38, Dragon Med Helm x4, Shield left half x3

After all these years people would have switched to the dmace or maul.

DDS is about 25% damage boost.

+150% damage then.

And better accuracy.

And better speed.

With poison.

No, it's not debatable.

There's probably a good reason why everyone is using a dds and dragon claws. But go try out that mace of yours, and if it turns out to be the best weapon to use, you can kick everyone's [wagon] before they catch on, at which point everyone will copy you and I will make a note of it right up here

( I know dds can deal a 38/38 spec, but really, you see that commonly?)

Quite commonly, yes.

D mace can hit what, 50? Oh, do you see that any more commonly than you would from a dds spec?

Dds only needs to get 25-26 to beat that.

Uh, Dragon claws>DDS. lol. It's debatable that way.

Thats the point.

Assuming the same accuracy, if something has a better max hit, its better, and DDS dose have a better max hit, and i think better accuracy.

already mentioned, but thanks

So, conclusions:

-Dragon Longsword: Accuracy + Damage Boost, Slow, not very consistent

-Dragon Mace: Decreased Accuracy, Great Damage Boost, Slow, not very consistent

Wait a minute, DDS has increased accuracy now? I thought it has LESS of an accuracy than before. I heard that it got nerfed once?

And D Long increases Accuracy, but accuracy isn't the only advantage. Each spec only takes up 25% of the SA bar so you can use it more. And I've heard that D Long does more dmg than D Mace, therefore D Mace is trash.

But you're right, DDS hits double, therefore gets a better boost than both of those. Despite that, however, D Claws > DDS if you are looking for power. Thank goodness that D Claws takes up 50% of the SA bar, or else it's the most broken spec ever.

Granite Maul is only an instantaneous attack to the other enemy, and it drains 50%, so no, it's not really that good.

Armadyl godsword does HEAVY damage, but it uses up 50% of the SA bar. Because of this, D Mace and D B-axe is trash. But D Claws can compete with the AGS, however.

\'

Agreed. I seem to have far more luck with the DDS than the mace.. Specced double 30+s many times with dagger, never specced above 40 with mace (99 att 92 str)

There's cake through here, apparently.

Dragon mace can hit up to 57, Dragon longsword can hit up to 53 with max strength gear (Same for both.) However mace is not as accurate.

Dragon longsword has increased DAMAGE bonus, not STRENGTH, there is a difference. Dragon mace

Thank goodness that D Claws takes up 50% of the SA bar, or else it's the most broken spec ever. It's broken still anyhow. It can NEVER miss. (If you "miss" by the morbid sense, you still do token damage.

Granite Maul is only an instantaneous attack to the other enemy, and it drains 50%, so no, it's not really that good. It has a decent chance to KO over all of them however.
