May 31, 200917 yr what do my fellow rangers here think are the best types of ranging armor? and what are the best places to train? i personally still use black d-hide, and do most of my training at fire giants in the baxtorian falls

May 31, 200917 yr This isn't really much of a discussion. Best ranger armour = Best bonuses. The only real Discussion here is which weapon and which spot, but the spots aren't really debatable either.

That one is pretty obvious, and sara book gives no bonus, so you should get Guthix/Zammy. You would also be wise to get snakeskin boots.

May 31, 200917 yr I wield full void (or armadyl/archer helmet) + rune xbow, broad arrows (or diamond/ruby enchanted if I go boss-hunting), unholy book, fury, row, accumulator, snakeskin (upgrading to ranger) boots First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me.
May 31, 200917 yr I train using slayer, adds variety and avoids monotomy - also lets me train three skills at once (ranged, hitpoints and slayer).
June 1, 200917 yr i just use full black dhide and archers helm, cant afford any high end gear, i use mith/addy bolts(cant use broad yet) with my cbow and mith arrows with my msb. good spots are yaks, aviansies, i go to the tzhaar caves alot to train range. Darwin's Radio, stairway to stardom 2009

June 1, 200917 yr My friend got 70-93 range by wearing full void and using broad bolts at fire giants, he says its nice exp and the drops are OK. I personally say just train anywhere to 85-90 then if your serious about range use chins.

Still, so many people have no idea what to do for themselves sometimes, so its up to others to get this information for them :lol: buy yeah, sara book plugs everything into defence bonus, so unless your a def narb like me dont use it lol
