Bubsa
= My MSN pic :P I'm glad they lost, I really am and I'm English. They're a bunch of primadonnas who wouldn't know patriotism even if they slept with it. Led by a Swede who has no clue, this "English" team is just pathetic. I'm a strong Liverpool fan but even they're influx of Spaniards carry more English pride than this shambles. England lost, HA! The team who wanted it more won. The team who looked like they were playing for their country won. Nice one N.I :) This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
Phil
Good night in football :D N. Ireland played brilliant. Full credit must go to them. I laughed at Ian Wright having a hissy fit on tv :P Scotland also won 2-1 against Norway. Brilliant first half, and rubbish last 10 mins again... :) Pity Wales and Rep. of Ireland never got results though.

Rizla
I laughed at Ian Wright having a hissy fit on tv :P I enjoyed that bit! What i like about him, is that he's a real football fan. He was only saying what every Englishman was thinking, and if our players had half the passion he has, we'd have won the game tonight. Kirk and Lars I could handle. At the same time. Mayjest
I was hosting a BBQ at the time, so I wasn't able to watch. Stupid English. We seem to be amazing during the games we should lose, and crap during the games we shouldn't. This does present a conundrum for me, as I'm off to N. Ireland for University on Sunday. I am going to have the piss ripped out of me when I get there, I can tell. Goals to get my skills back up to a barely respectable level on the high scores: Currently going for Bone to Peaches spell. It's amazing how boring doing the same repetitive task is! Stupid MTA
cluck
I blame Sven. :) Why? It wasnt him on the pitch. Because of new formattion. 4-5-1 kindly confusing for me. I'm English but I'm happy to see Northern Ireland won this match to created history. :P
Hukaideez
Being Welsh that was the best thing that could have happened, other than us beating them oursleves. I hope Sven stays with England because with his management techniques they can only get worse, although after that performance they might have hit rock bottom already. Anyway congrats to Northern Ireland on their 5th proffesional win this Millennium.

They should be able to work with whatever formation the manager decides and still be world class. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Pigstein
yeah, England played dismal, but Sven took the wrong tactical approach. :D my English friend said that we should burn a football send it to N.I and play the ashes of football :P oh well I found it funny :? assassin_696
N. Ireland deserved the win and got it, England went out expecting to win and played like they would somehow automatically get the win because normally with the right attitude we could beat em. But we didn't, we played like a bunch of overpayed idiots who were out for a kick-a-bout. Well done N.Ireland, you deserved the win, England didn't, it's about time the (majority of) the England squad started playing with the determination that we see in our rugby and cricket squads. Sure, we don't win them all, but we generally try. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
Ruzbeh
Because of new formattion. Oops, I didn't know that. I just blamed Sven for the hell of it. In other news today, The Netherlands PWNED Andorra, 4-0. 8)
Ianbur
This could be the best result in years. It could be the result that finally sees Sven pack his bags, as lets face it, if the FA don't sack him now, they never will. I was watching the Scotland game too, and it was a really good victory. I hope they qualify now.
Hukaideez
In other news today, The Netherlands PWNED Andorra, 4-0. 8) Not really a major surprise given Netherlands are 3rd in the world while Andorra are a formidable 134th behind the likes of Yemen and Palestine. I don't know what the difference between England and Northern Ireland is on the world ranking list, I couldn't find the list by the way, would you be so kind to link me? :) Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! Hukaideez
England are 7th and Northern Ireland are 116th. Here's the link you asked for. http://www.fifa.com/en/mens/statistics/index/0,2548,AllJun2004,00.html?select11=All&cmbMonth=Jun&cmbYear=2004 Seems to be a bit odd at the moment though. Hukaideez
I'm surprised Rooney can tell the difference between left and right lol. Anyway, he's one of the best English prospects for years but if he doesn't learn to keep his head he won't reach his full potential. Look what happened in the Spanish game.
