Alchin for 85+ Magic.

Featured Replies

Well since the new PvP update i have become very interrested in training skills were i am able to do so in a PvP Hotspost. Alching seems to be a decent way of doing this. Minimal loss and i can gain EP this way. Questions:

Were would be a good place to alch? Somewhere in a building, between walls, etc. were reaching me with Magic/Ranged attacks will not be possible or only possible if they are next to me?

What is a decent item to alch? I was thinking Mage Longs, Yew (u) or Rune Javelins. Im not looking for something that makes profit, just something with minimal loss.

Thanx in advance!

I think that going upstairs in a house in a hotzone (Varrock, Falador, etc.) would be your best bet, since really nobody goes up there. And I would alch Yew Longs (u). Don't forget a teleport in case someone does find you.

Best ones out unless you wanna try calcing some yourself.

Alching sucks though.

And so does trick

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Try alching where there are doors around so you can tele when people are coming.

I'd go with rooms above varrock and falador but I haven't tried black knight's castle (use ladders to block them)

Just because he wants to get EP, it does not mean he will do the 26k trick. -.-

Anyways my friend told me the deepest part of the Troll Stronghold is a good place, a hotzone that not many people ever go in. And if they do find you it is easy to teleport or run away.

Just saying, but alching is usually a poor option for gaining ep.

Why is it a bad option?

I agree, alching is not the best thing to do nowdays.

First of all Slay dude, your a avansie/green dragon experienced player. What does that mean? You can get loads cash!

Hardwork+Good knowledge>Cash into your pocket

So what you do?

1) Earn cash (Greens/Avansies/Abyssal Demons)

2) Buy runes for ice burst

3) Burst rock lobsters

RESULT:

Time saved (As you get charms)

Great magical EXP and Summon

Now if you didn't burst but instead went to Waterfiends you would be either:

1) Ranging

2) Meleeing (best)

So that means >No magic exp unless you alch.

So in other words:

1) Alch (for magic levels)

2) Kill waterfiends for summon>Charms

But bursting rock lobsters is 3 in 1!

1) HP exp (Great too)

2) Greatest magic exp

3) Greatest charms>exp in summon

So though it will take time to get some cash from Avansies/Dragons for bursting i recommend doing so. It will be so much worth it.

Good luck!

Have no idea. I am not the guy with the number, i am the guy with the plans. But it's expensive. Talking about millions in expenses.

But it's not hard to earn cash at Avansies/Green dragons so that will cover cost.

Not sure the current prices, but diamond bolts can hit 150k exp an hour quite reasonably. (more if your insane)

would be alot better then alching, just dont die and lose like 50m lol
