RayOxide
People there.. Not the system itself. Ever sat at the GE doing something for about 1 hour? It's hard to stop staring at how many idiots there are there. 1. "Buying [insert item here] on ge!" What's wrong with that? I dunno, maybe if you arent buying the item its not selling, so chances are people are trying to buy it too, meaning you wont get it. 2. The people who sit around the GE, fletching and saying other skills are useless. Need I say more? 3. Alchers. I still have a problem with alching, I know, but seriously.. I go to them and ask them why they alch. They usually say levels. So I ask them why not try anything different. They completely disregard all other options that I give them to try, and eventually end up insulting me etc. I'd rather not turn my chat off. I like looking out if there are possible deals. ;) I dont need a siggy no moar.
TheValeyard
1. Yeah, pretty irritating. Personally I find the bots who advertise merchant clans a lot worse. I'd turn chat to hide whilst i'm there if you don't want to turn it completely off. 2. GE is a good place to fletch. If they start talking crap about other skills just ignore them. 3. Nothing wrong with alching there. This is your own problem if you have some kind of issue with people training mage in an efficient way that doesn't lose much money. Inuashakent
I go to them and ask them why they alch. I would recommend you stop doing that... [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]

All RuneScape skills are useless. 3. Alching is actually my favorite thing to do on RuneScape. I haven't had much chance to alch since reaching 99 Magic though, as I was/am saving for Crafting. I alch(ed) because it relaxes me in a way that nothing else in the game does. I love to meet people; send me a pm if you see me on RuneScape! :)

Tim
Personally I find the bots who advertise merchant clans a lot worse. This would be the most annoying thing ever. Player: "Join (Blah) for G.E Merchanting!" PMod: "Manpulating is againt the rules as well as advertising clans for it" [Player has Auto-Talker] PMod: "What's that? You want to be muted? okay" Checked the Hi-Scores and the guy was banned. Popoto.~<

If its about the ignorant players around runescape then just ignore them. It's about how people flood the GE with useless crap just because people are there, and how amazingly stupid people can get - and WHY they hang around here of all places. I go to them and ask them why they alch. I would recommend you stop doing that... Never! I must show the world the way of not-alching. 3hitm4g3u
Alching is one of the most popular ways of raising magic. The people doing it most likely don't need your advice and so get annoyed when you try to give it.

RayOxide
Ok, Vale I'm getting real pissed with you. Stalking me? Insulting me on the simplest thing? You have a way with words. It's not whining when you give obvious advice to someone. It's not whining when they insult you because you know what you're doing. [bleep] off. And telling one person makes them tell 2 people, which makes those people tell 2 people each, yada yada yada. How do you think people found out about Alching in the first place? Half the people alching now would just do anything if someone told them it was cheap. I dont need a siggy no moar.

Zierro
What you might deem as the best training method is subjective. You always have to take into account factors such as personal enjoyment. I could have done black-jacking to 99 Thieving, but I chose Plunder instead to break the monotony. And alching might not be the most efficient way of training but it sure is simple. Blutters
Agreed on all points except #3. And about the spamming... I also hate it when people keep repeating the same buy/sell message even though nobody new has come by. If we weren't interested the first five times why would we be the next fifteen? I put very few people on ignore, and these are most of them. Also, when I wear my untrimmed Hitpoints people with low skills or 99 'easies' will come up and try to criticize me. I'm a 130 with untrimmed Hitpoints. Maybe it was slightly intentional? And this happens very commonly. At least for every one of them there's an admirer though.
Wizz
People there.. Not the system itself. Ever sat at the GE doing something for about 1 hour? It's hard to stop staring at how many idiots there are there. I never stay in the Grand Exchange for more than 5 minutes. No reason to. I just go up sell/buy, then leave. But this brings up an even better question; What are you doing in the G.E for one hour? Only thing I can think of to rant about the GE is that little accidental message I get when I'm using the G.E "Changes will take effect in you clan Chat in 60 seconds" Wongton is better than me in anyway~~

Harakiri
I've ranted about this before. It is stupid how they talk in there. "Buying armor in GE!" "Selling armor in GE!" "Selling armor!" (Why do people not use the conveniently placed GE?) It just comes down to the fact that some people are douche-bags. It has nothing to do with that, it doesn't exactly bring anyone down or do anything hurtful. They are not D-bags, I reserve that honor for the most idiotic, they are just plain and simple idiots. It's pointless to say that stuff because if I cared to buy your rune helm, I would go on the GE and buy it.
