June 23, 200917 yr Seing as fishing is only slower then Slayer Runecraft Summoning -To some extent farming, but farming really is a fast cape in terms of actual hours invested. Its just those hours are spread out over many months that it makes it seem really long Depending on your cash earned per hour, pray/herb/con/smith may take longer then fish or maybe not. Though the skill is afkable it still takes a long time. so id rate it somewhere in the middle. June 23, 200917 yr As far as i see it, its boring as hell, degrades your life, fingers, and sanity, and you would be lucky to escape out of it with an intact keyboard and mouse. So, like all skills that do the above, its respected. Plus, its one of the cooler looking capes. O.O

I know you're talking about getting 99 in the skill, but seriously, I get sick of people like you just getting it for the cape, and the fact that people now talk about capes in stead of skills, makes me nearly vommit. Agree with tiny text above me, it makes me sick to hear people say "Hunter cape achieved!" (actual TIF sig). Trimmed SkillCapes give a +4 prayer bonus vs +2 with a fire cape. That extra prayer bonus is very useful just about anywhere using prayer. People wear their SkillCapes because they are proud to have gotten 99 in a skill they like, and because the prayer is very helpful, not so they can show it off.

If it is to small for people to read :thumbsup: Long story short. If you love this skill, get the 99 \ Im going for 99 Fishing because.. well.. I like Fishing, not as strenuous as other skills, brings a decent cash flow. No 99 Skill takes a day. many of them take Months and Months of hard work which is made much easier IF YOU LOVE THE SKILL! Put plain and simple. June 24, 200917 yr I actually heard people claim the attack cape wasn't ugly. Imagine that. My personal favourites are the slayer and agility cape. But I guess the next guy will say something different. And just remember that all skill capes are ugly if you turn on your taste center in your brain. Ever worn one withour armour? YUCK! yet I wear one of mine every day, because for most of my time on runescape I thought I would never be able to have a 99. And now I do. Several even.
