essiw
Is it possible to kill a mith dragon (for Fremennik diary) with my stats: 102 combat: 77 att 76 str 77 def 80 hp 64 prayer 46 summoning (don't know if it helps?) 75 magic 77 ranged So to be clear I want only to kill one mithrill dragon I don't want to spent money on a outfit (so if possible no barrows, or other expensive armour) If needed I will buy the pots/ammo for it, if needed I could also buy barrows xbow with ammo http://sign.tip.it/1/2/79/260/essiw.png Retired item crew I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum. All_Is_Great
Yes you can, I did it with pretty much same stats a couple of days ago, with blk dhide, use ruby bolts (e) for first half, then diamond for second half. GL :

essiw
So if I am correct: Full black dhide, archer helm, ring of wealth (just for drops) anti-dragonschield, ammy of glory, accumulator How many pray pots, anti-fire pots and tuna potatoes (I have them) do i need to take with me? I am not used to enchanted bolts (haven't played for 1,5 years and back then they were quite new) what kind of bolts are ruby and diamond? how many of them do I need? do i need rang pots? http://sign.tip.it/1/2/79/260/essiw.png Retired item crew I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum. And use around 30 ruby bolts(e) as well.
essiw
ah nice I am amble to make those bolts without buying them, saves me some money :) is my equipment good? and an other question, if I get this task from dureadel is it adviced to do that? or do I only lose money/stuff with it? (with my combat lvl) If you get them as a task, you'll simply get Slayer experience on top of the ordinary experience you'd already get. I can do around 4 of them in one trip at my levels. I would think 3-4 is pretty normal. I wouldn't want to leave all the mithril bars on the ground, nor would I want to risk death. What does Duradel assign for these? Single digits, right? I love steel dragons so it would be nice to do mith too :D On slayer task it would be better to melee since you get the help of the Black mask/slayer helm. Just wear the helm, best d hides you can. I wear dragons boots, fury, beserker ring and untrimmed attack cape. I use the LBS as a weapon as they are weak to stab. Since there are so few of them its a pretty easy task. I did a max trip of 7 once for a task. Use a war Tort to hold the bars and bones i got as drops. I wouldn't bother with steels as they take a long time to complete. Everyone i know that slays, and i'm talking about some high ranked people in the skill, have them on their block list as they are a pain to kill and you get nothing in return. But thats up to you. essiw
with LBS you mean leaf bleaded sword? are they buyable? Lets_3ekout
with LBS you mean leaf bleaded sword? are they buyable? (I haven't played for 1,5 years) Yes, they're quite cheap. Mith drags aren't hard for anyone, people with stats in the 60's should be able to kill them, just very slowly. If you're going to use range prayer or chivalry (praying one of these highly recommended) bring 5 p pots just to be safe. If you have dragon slayer gloves remember to bring them, but don't go out and start playing FoG just to get a pair for this. I have a pair and I never remember to bring them :? I wear Ava's Accumulator, Snakeskin boots, Black d'hide body and chaps, Barrows-style gloves, Archer helm, Rune crossbow, Anti-dragonfire shield, Amulet of glory, and Ruby enchanted bolts for the first half of the fight, Diamond enchanted bolts for the second half. I always bring ranging potions and antifire potions and prayer potions and some food. I get right up next to the dragon and pray melee, I think. I can't remember. essiw
thanks all :D So is it better to rang or to melee them? http://sign.tip.it/1/2/79/260/essiw.png Retired item crew I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum. Zaaps1
I always melee them. I've tried both and I think melee is easier, not to mention faster. ~It's Super Effective! Yes, even if you don't have a mask. And yes those gloves would help if you equipped them for the last few hits (I think barrows gloves would be better before then), but remember they only work on task. ~It's Super Effective! essiw
I don't use barrows but I use dragon gloves ;) (just because I think barrows gloves look ugly with dragon, yeah I know they have better stats) ok, and are the gloves also worth the time to get for steel and iron drags? http://sign.tip.it/1/2/79/260/essiw.png Retired item crew I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum.
