Photo of the Month 04 - Landscape Photography

 

 

 

Landscapes. Stunning photographs of the land around us. I think the theme explains itself. For this theme, I will allow panoramas, and photos up to 6 months ago, because we may not have all this stunning scenery around us. Fresh photos are much nicer though.

 

 

 

There are two sections:

 

Non-Edited

 

Edited (Photo-Manipulation)

 

 

 

That means something Manipulated or Not.

 

 

 

Non-Manipulation = Photographs taken with a film or a digital camera featuring a minimal amount of colour and exposure adjustment.

 

Manipulation = Photo manipulations are images that have been composed of two or more photographic elements to create something new.

 

 

 

The Rules:

 

1. Everything has too be your own. That means any photos, manipulated or not, have to be yours.

 

2. When you submit a photo, make sure you say what category it is in, and pm to me. No anonymity here sorry.

 

3. No more than one photo is too be submitted for each category.

 

4. Have fun.

 

 

 

How to Vote:

 

Basically you can vote twice, in the sections Edited and Unedited.

wow, landscape photography is a hard category, imo. good luck everyone :P

I will enter, if I'm lucky I can enter something during my stay in the French Alpes next week :thumbup:

 

(Have to find an internet café for that, I guess...)

It's great that I'm getting my new camera on Saturday, and my Summer photography project is based around landscapes, however, I do not expect to win, or even come third.

Meh not sure if I'll be entering this one. The landscape around my house is soooooo boring and we don't even get pretty sunsets/rises :P

 

 

 

Is it possible to enter photographs that you have taken months ago or does it have to be fresh?

That's something I'd like to know too, actually. If we're allowed to, I could at least enter something from Alaska :P

Bah I'll probably have to sit this one out, I've not been doing much photography in the last year and my camera's overexposing everything. I'll see if I can pull something out of the bag though. :lol:

Haven't got any :lol: Ah well, I'll maybe take it to the place that cleaned my sensor, see what they say.

erm I guess I'm lucky that i just got back from my vacation in the Haute-Alpes and the Rhône-Alpes in south-east france haha :P got over 600 landscape photo's from there, so I guess I'll enter mine in a few days... Lets see what I can make from it :
