[hide=]Over the last few weeks, weve been working hard to make our subscription cards easier to purchase. As a result, you can now find our 30- and 90-day membership cards in Rite-Aid and Wal-Mart stores.

 

 

 

Once you have purchased your card, you can use the PIN number on the back to subscribe to RuneScape. You can do this by:

 

 

 

Click Account on the home page;

 

Choose Start/Extend Subscription;

 

Log in;

 

Select Subscribe by RuneScape Card as your payment method;

 

Accept the terms and conditions.[/hide]

Good for people without a credit card, or a Target/7-11.

Do you think Jagex will ever stop the usage of credit to pay for subscriptions and just require everyone get cards and stuff?

No. They would kill a great amount of subscribers who don't want to pay more.

I bought one of these 90 day subscription cards just because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of mailing in, and I got 15 free days added for being 'loyal'. I think they added them because I still had the discount from the years previous, but I doubt they'll give me it again :D.

Back when I played WoW, I would always use the game cards to pay rather than credit cards. I found it very convenient, as my backyard Target carried them.

Those cards make it awesome to pay :P I remember when my sister wanted to give me mems, she tried to use her cc and it wouldn't let her pay overseas for security purposes. Then she got me a card instead and now I'm happy :P

And opeious you live in India? How common is wifi there now? I am going there in a few weeks to visit family and I hope more houses in general now have wifi. I know India is a fast developing country so it should have it but when I went before 2001 there weren't many spots.

Just throwing it out there, but what if someone came and shoplifted the card, would it still work? or is it like gift cards that it has to go thru the register to work, and if it didnt could they trace you and ban you? Just wondering haha :mrgreen: not something I would do

They would have to be activated at the register I would imagine.

There are some pretty easy ways to steal giftcards...

wallmart makes me feel dirty, i like the e-check thing. it is through a checking account and over the web. it is also almost instant.

Hmmmm.......I seriously don't know the answer :roll: :oops: :oops: .......but I m sure that its not that common...

Membership is now just a 1 mile sprint away from my house!

I find it easier. I always get rift from one half my parents (always my dad) about getting the game because I cancel it a lot as I play off and on.

If I ever decide to become a member (doubtful) this would make things much easier, as there is a Rite-Aid a mile and a half or so from my house.

Lol@Jagex, they are so slow. I have been wondering for years why they don't do this, it's a pretty obvious thing to do.
