Recommended Posts

hey, wanted pretty much to know your opinion to make a decision if to stay with my zerker ring or imbue the warrior ring.

anyone have tested it yet or have math calculation that proves anything in this subject?

any help would be appricated, thanks ::'

Onyx (i) > Warrior (i)

You sacrifice +2 slash to gain +6 all defense and +6 to stab and crush.

I you're going for full offense, then use Warrior (i); and +6 to stab and crush don't matter if you're using a whip for example...

Warrior > Onyx

It really depends on what your gonna kill or fight...

But but i would say the +8 slash is impressive. Most monsters use crush (Ankou, Nech, Spiritual warrior --zamorak-- etc)

Slash>Spiritual warrior ---saradomin--, gorak, gargoyles?

thanks for replays guys.

some guys pointed out something i forgot to say...for what those bonuses would be: either to balance with also defence, or just max out the attack...

well with summoning/good armor/sgs/good defence, defence is kinda obsolete more and more, i would like to be able to hit best (combination of accuracy&high hits)

so in short, onyx (i) is the balanced ring, but i would want to know what will make my whip/sgs hit overall better, warrioir (i) or zerker.

P.S. yes i have more than enought cash for zerker, owning both of the rings atm, just waiting to decide.

keep them coming ::'

Warrior (i) = more hits; less zeros

Berserker = higher hits

It all depends on which you prefer. If you want my opinion; I prefer Warrior (i).

that's exactly the point, i can make my slash +8, or i can make my str +4. the question is wich of those will effect the overall damage done in x times.

thanks for the advice of your prefer tho :)

Well since your 2 main weps are whip and sgs, the slash bonuses will be much more useful than the str bonuses. The main thing you want with the sgs spec is just to hit, and as long as you don't have it set on crush style the warrior ring (i) will be much more useful. Guthix prefers the onyx (i)

Onyx (I) is the same cost as a berserker ring, minus the cost of the minigame itself. It gives +6 to every attack bonus, +6 to every defense bonus except summoning, and 0 prayer/strength. Onyx (I) is much better than a berzerker. Although I'm keeping my berseker after I get Archers (I), Seers (I), and Onyx (I). they each have their uses.

wtf is a warrior (i)? New update?

yep it's a reward you can get in mobolising armies rewards. doubles the bonuses of a regular warrior ring ::'

hmm nice point you have there. I do plan on getting all enchanted rings includ onyx, after all in any place other ring might be more usefull (for example i'll prefer onyx if i'm going waterfiends, crush is a must).

and nope, guthix prefers have each one of them to keep it balanced

completely agree with your point, about having few rings and fit to situation. but if you're in the situation "fighting, def is obsolete and you need to hit over the long run more" what would you choose?

tyvm guys from your opinions, giving me fair points about how to decide ;)

I'm sure you all agree +1 in a stat is not going to make a noticable diffrence (I have heard people say +4 is hardly noticable) so why get an onyx ring if a dragonstone ring is only -1 on all stats.

Dragonstone ring 35.2k = +5 across the board (with the same excepions as the onyx)

Onyx ring 2.3m = + across the board (with the stated exceptions previously explained in other posts)

I know which I prefer.

and i'm talking btw zerker and warrior (i), i know onyx/d stone is the balanced ones, please stay to the topic.

Sorry, but since they were talking about the onyx (i) I thought I would throw that little tid bit in. You don't keep mills by wasting it on only ever so slightly better things all the time ::'
