MTK - Manage Thy Kingdom

Well, I thought I'd try out MTK. I'll be using it for 25 days, until the end of my membership. So, I was wondering the following things:

- How much money do they take per day?

- What are the best things to collect according to current prices?

- How much money would drain in 25 days?

- Roughly how much would I make in 25 days?

If anyone could give me a hand with this I'd love you

If you have at least 750k in there it will take 75k each day.

- What are the best things to collect according to current prices?

10 workers on Raw Fish and the other 5 either on Coal or Maples. Coal for a guaranteed profit, maples for luck on the seeds.

- How much money would drain in 25 days?

25 days at 75k a day is 1,875,000 coins

- Roughly how much would I make in 25 days?

This will vary as if you go and get 100% approval everyday or just let it drop. But you will profit on the 1.8m that you put into the coffers

If anyone could give me a hand with this I'd love you

Replies underlined.

Side note: You can keep money in MTK and when you get members again you can go collect. MTK still works even while you're on F2P.

Remember to keep 750k minimum in there at all times. 8-)

thats all I can say

Why is that?

because each day, the minigame takes 10% of what is in coffers (up to 75k) and use it to pay the workers for their resources. This means that you should have at least 750k in the coffers (because 10% of 750k is 75k, the max) that will be used to pay the workers. This is the ideal situation, so you should probably keep more than just 750k in the coffers. Personally I keep about 2m in the coffers, so I don't have to bring money with me every day.

Yea, when you become non-mem, you could always have extra in if you don't need it, and collect when you become a mem again. I put in about 5 mil and then didn't become a member for a couple months, and boy, there was a lot of stuff.

I was under the impression that you only had to get your approval up when you wanted to finally collect...I never really noticed a difference in value (though I've only gone at most three days without collecting/getting approval up).

It's best to return every day to keep your approval rating at 100% or your subjects will give you less for your money!

Only if it dips below about 50%, of course it depends on what you have the workers on. But thats at-least 50 days before it starts to actually lose you money.

Personally I just leave it for a few days then collect it. As long as it doesn't dip below about 90% you still get one hell of a profit.

Ah, but having worked on guides before, we all know that people writing them can make mistakes, don't we?

I like my system. I put in about 3 million, then every other day or every third day I go and get my rating back to 100% (takes like, what, 5 minutes at most?).

Now, here's the real magic:

Your approval rating is clocked at about the time you initially put in money into the coffers. So for me, at 1:00 PM each day.

However, resources are not "bought" by your workers until you choose to see what they've collected. I've tested this.

So the day of checkout I go and check the current prices of coal/fish/flax, and decide whether or not I want gems or seeds (if you do 10 on raw fish and 5 on coal expect a bounty of gems, additional revenue and crafting exp).

Good luck, and in my opinion, since your membership will expire, go ahead and do fish/coal since tree seeds won't be useful for you. Note that you will likely get a clue scroll from the raw fish, so if you like those be sure to give yourself some time to do that before you leave members.

I may put something here eventually.

Not true. If you're away for a few days, and then max the approval rating right before collecting, it doesn't affect the resources that are already in the coffer at all. I've tried, your approval rating is checked around each midnight to determine how many resources appear in your coffers and you get less if it isn't maxed. But of course, as long as the rating is above 90%, the difference is pretty minor.

I go at most two days without checking in...so the "loss" from the extra decimal points, I suppose, is negligible.
