unkn0wnwarrior
I always used to say it like that, but everybody kept telling me it was wrong. Personally, I think it works both ways.

Zierro
EDIT: And there is ALOT of people claiming they trained through "FightClubs" ...I thought rule 1 was you cant talk about them? Not to mention how (my opinion) stupid you have to be to join them. Beating people up Isn't going to get you anywhere in life. :| No, apart from the bodyguard busines, it doesn't. Thanks for pointing that out. Beating on the weak is for scum. But fighting with other men, under terms agreed upon by both parties, is not. It's just part of being a guy. As primitive as it may seem, everyone one of us males has testerone flooding the entirety of our bodies, testerone that is constantly screaming at us, screaming, "FIGHT, FIGHT!". It's why we find so much enjoyment in wrestling, in football, in just having fun grappling with our buds. It's why Fight Club is such an iconic male movie- we all love the thrill of battle, of fighting 'til our last breathe. So don't act like your better than other guys because you for some odd reason don't have this base instinct. I don't think I'm alone in saying this: get off your high horse. I do agree with you, but a lot of high school Fight Clubs are just to impress the other guys rather than a personal satisfaction. In my high school everyone made it crystal [bleep]ing clear. No one will really fight unless they have a group of friends to watch. They don't care about the fighting, just the reputation of being a "fighter". Both of the fights I got into during high school weren't caused because those people actually had a problem with me, but rather because their friends were right behind them and they wanted to seem as manly as possible - to show they don't take [cabbage] from anyone (even though the [cabbage] I was giving them was only actually me defending myself from their insults). Anytime I would walk past them alone, nothing. But if their friends were with them then they always had something to say. High school is just one big competition of who is the coolest. Tim
Headbutt. I didn't know Zidane was a TIF'er! add a CT on the end and sure! memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=44 Fighting isn't about honour. That said: [hide=This][/hide] you collect swords congratulations, that would not do crap against someone who is quick, you probably cant even lift that thing. You would be suprised how light those swords realy are, Hell my Claymore (Sword, not explosive) is proberly as light as 5 bambo swords tapped together. which isn't much. perfetc
How can you offensively not fight and offensively run away? :? Ever heard the saying "The best offense is a good defense"? Personally, I would say not fighting and running away are pretty good defenses. Unless you can rip up concrete when you run there is no way you can run away while attacking some body with it. If you run at them then it is offencive. You have just said that not attacking them is a good way to attack them, HOW!? You can't attack them when you are not attacking them. It's not your traditional offense, by any means. But arguably, not fighting can be used as an offense in that you wear your opponent out by avoiding the conflict. Possibly using dodges. Running away is more a defense, though, you are right.
Omar
No, the saying really is the best defense is a good offense. The concept is that if you neutralize them first, they can't hurt you. In other words, attacking defends. The hand which strikes also blocks. Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you.
