My first Dyson Shard battery has been retreived, and is being totally successful in powering my country. He's hibernating or something. (He said he still wants control over it, even though he doesn't post :| ) Anyway. Bhutan fell easily. Sent 10000 soldiers, adept at mountain climbing, through southern China (hope you didn't mind my little parade, Latino), and 1000 through India (they're ninjas). Surrounded from both sides, and by larger forces than they could summon, the government gave in. There were very, very few losses - perhaps 50 at most, on both sides combined. I'll let the people live the lives they used to live for now, as I figure out what improvements I could make. I've called 8000 of my troops home though, leaving 3000 there to help train the Bhutanese soldiers, and for defense. Our airforce is also relatively weak, with our own SL12 fighters, and a few dropships. Our country is attempting to increase the GPA by mining the massive veins of iron we found beneath the icy surface of polar mars. Hopefully this will pay off. I assume you meant GDP lol. Oh and Rocco, there's a bunch of islands near Sri Lanka that you could take. Germania news: Construction has begun on a massive space battlestation that will stay in orbit above the Earth. It's main purpose would be to shoot down a spaceship should someone decide to crash one into the Earth (I know you've been thinking about this Doom :lol: ), and to provide protection to Germania and Russia's shipyards. Cameroon has agreed to assimilation into Germania, on the terms that they remain in autonomous control of their government. Germania has agreed. - The 3 ships Germania sent out to find a black hole have found one, and entered one by one. Enough data was retreived to show that, while parts of the ships did go somewhere, other parts were simply destroyed. This rules out black holes as a possibility for FTL space travel. - Germania has put its conscripts from the war back to civilian status. Should they be needed, they could be called up again, but for now they are not. Germania's army is back to 35 million. 10 of those are still going through training (say 1m per year get to war-ready status). Oh, and since I sometimes forget about production, I'm just going to say that Germania is producing 25 MAASs a year, plus 30 Scorpions. The research into a plant that can grow in tundra environments is complete (this was not a Haven project), and with it Antarctica is now colonizable. 30,000 new colonists have been sent to Antarctica to set up its first city. If anyone would like to buy the seeds for these plants, let me know. They take a special facility and process to make, so you can't just crack 'em open and say, "Hey! That's how we make them!" and nullify 8 years of research. It's early, lemme alone :( And yes, we are taking those islands! Our transport ships are taking 560 men at arms to conquer them for Sri Lanka. I've lent you 75,000 Germanian soldiers. They're yours to command, and any land you take with them will be yours (this is just to get past the "You don't have an army so you can't do that!" part). Should be enough to take them - I'll go look up their names. Islands to the south of India are Male/Maledives, ones to the east of Sri Lanka have no name apparently. If none of my allies are, Japan will move in a force of 50,000 troops. Should have control by the end of the year. We're also going to start diplomatic proceedings with the Solomon Islands. Again, they should join our empire by the end of the year. I think there's also a little island that's part of Papua New Guinea that isn't coloured in on the map - this image shows it. If someone would colour that in for me I'd be grateful. Oh, and, we're going to be watching the Russian "repairmen" very closely, so no nasty hidden gadgets can be installed.
