In other news, I've invaded Holland, since the guy hasn't posted in two weeks. An additional 1,000,000 new volunteers have been added to the German army, from countries that have now fully accepted being part of Germania (aka Inner Germania). The countries in Africa have also accepted German rule, but for different reasons (stability, prosperity, security).

Yea, but Walka (Russia) would've been the one to retaliate, since I'm too far from Aussieland to realistically attack it. I'd have to move half my navy to do so, which is kind of pointless tbh.

I think flodder (holland) gave partial control to somalia, so pirate felix is pretty much in control of holland. But, even if he declares war on you, what's the worst that could happen?

my astronomers have found a possible candidate for a life-supporting planet, roughly 37 lightyears from earth that we intend to investigate, and possibly colonise. as soon as our ship is built it will be send towards the planet to do tests, and bring a few small animals to see if it can support life from earth. if it can, we will be constructing several more colonising ships in order to transport several people to our new planet

GDP is the value of everything your country produces. Or pretty much how much money everyone in the country earns each year, added together. So if your gdp is 100 trillion, and you tax 20% on average, then 15% of that goes back into the country (schools, maintenance, etc.) you'd have 5 trillion to spend on average. I'll do that all for you to sere, since you only have a couple places.

Anyway, I control (although the map need s to be updated *hint hint*) Zimbabwe, Congo, Mozambique. Formally Luxembourg, but obviously not anymore. I think it was like 5 million or so people were lost in that skirmish. Not all killed obviously, but not all returned to my control either). For simplicity sake you could add Madagascar to that list, as it'll be mine in a day or two anyway.

I think your population is roughly 102 million, your gdp is pretty much that of luxembourg's, since all of your countries are hideously poor, other than the congo, which is only mostly hideously poor. Without luxembourg's people's support, you'd be getting like 7 billion gdp.

Not only completely impossible but it would take extremely long also. However a lot of what has been said in this thread was pretty far out there.

 

 

 

Norway's population should be around 5 million now, with a GDP of around $600 billion. I also drastically underestimated how much the sovereign wealth fund gains each year. I was using 2007 estimates of $325 billion, but by 2009 it was up to $375 billion. It was estimated to reach $800 billion by 2017. I spent some of it on finishing the extra-solar spaceship modules but that only brought it down about $50 billion. It should be up to around $1.5 trillion dollars now. So I am going to start spending some of that money.
