I got four drops in my first task of 160 (including my first ever kill being a drop!). Sadly, now I haven't received a single one since... I once got 16 d boots in 1 trip of around 600 kills then I got 0 in another trip of approx 300 kills. That's how random it is. It's funny that people still ask this question. Yeah it's random, but there is still a drop rate. The drop rate would be what Jagex enters in when they program the monster and its drops. You CAN uncover it, and it IS ACCURATE, but it's simply isn't guaranteed. ~It's Super Effective!
