August 8, 200916 yr Author It isn't a very fun minigame, so people don't bother playing it. Simple as that. True. But for rewards players should play it  I play games for fun. I do it for rewards mostly. But i love the player interaction. Example at SC_Claymates i always talk to people there alot. But i would play it for fun too but there's not many i do for fun really. But i do mostly for rewards>they lead to fun.
August 8, 200916 yr The goal is for people to get quickly to rank 300 so they can buy imbued rings (onyx, warrior, seers, archer)... I play it too, but I am planning to go for rank 400... Reason for this is that you can then play with level 5 units, and hence level 5 games... Those are the best as you can explore with 10 light dwarf units for all of the game and they will find numerous rune ores that way (i'm guesstimating they can find 25-30 runite ors in 30 mintes with 10 squads)...You sure you got rune ores? We used level 5 troops and got coal from our dwarves, never getting any rune ores in the whole game. :?
August 8, 200916 yr Fast_Ma is not "playing" Mobilising Armies :| If you're good at MA, you could've easily achieved the same rank/hour as Fast_Ma abusers and get more reward points/personal satisfaction during the week of release. Now, however, it seems like it takes a while to get a game started #-o ☭

August 8, 200916 yr I got the War Chief rank as soon as I could, because the game wasn't very fun, and I didn't expect people to stick around after getting the rank they wanted. It seems that is exactly the case. PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape

August 9, 200916 yr my rank is 301. played it the first 2.5 weeks 3 hours a day. good that i've done that while crushing all noobs  theard owner, you keep telling people to join and it's not the place for it. we got that you really want those rings, as i did, but adverise it correctly at correctly places. and nope rewards aren't worth it for the time spent, i did so because i had rewards as bonus for fun. around the 300 saw it started dying so after taking max reward i thought it would be stink to watch it dying and was back to regular rs playing. Nah, that's Conflict mode. (Though a good rusher being smart with distractors could beat most Conflict campers) In siege, it's about clicking on rocks for 10 minutes straight. IMO, Hoard & Rescue are much more interesting scenarios. you are wrong sir. i tried them all, and at last i sticked to siege. you never know if they'yre noobs (click 10 mins straight), have to atk a lights only enemies or just have to fight like in conflict, everyone is using there diffrent strategy and it was closest to strategy rs would ever reach in the soon years IMO.
August 9, 200916 yr I hate clans like the one you're in. It leaches off players from the themed worlds, making it hard to even get games going for people like me who enjoy playing the game for fun, not grinding out ranks. Go [bleep] yourself. quit

August 9, 200916 yr Mobilising armies was far too overhyped, it just isn't big/tactical enough for most people. The rewards are nice, though, and that level 5 thing does sound interesting....
August 9, 200916 yr I just hope that there will be games played in the future, so I can keep refreshing my quest kit.
August 9, 200916 yr Author I managed to get rank 117. From there i am gonna stop. I have wasted so much time waiting for 1) More players to come 2) Not getting picked for a game. I hope Jagex fixes it VERY VERY soon, cause i hoped to get rank 300 before member ran out.

If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?

Mate, I am always right. GOP is a minigame Jagex just released to feed players. As for fixes i meant that they fixed the flaws. I checked RSOF and many players have given support and feedback on flaws of MA. MA will be fixed somehow for better i am sure of.
August 9, 200916 yr If they would just fix the delay of the units I think a lot more people would play it. The delay turned me off the minigame after the 10th game. You know what I mean... when you tell a unit to move it takes him 10 seconds to even respond. Sometimes he doesn't even move at all. And also, the good rewards take too long to get. :? By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .
August 9, 200916 yr I love how people were flaming Jagex for not releasing it quickly enough. And now nobody plays it! They'll whine about that next. Maybe next time Jagex will refrain from hyping up a lame minigame.
August 9, 200916 yr Personally I like MA as a Runescape update, the strategy element is an interesting introduction to Runescape that I think will make for some interesting quests in future. I think the major problem is that people went in expecting something to rival the best of the RTS world - I remember during it's first week of release listening (more like reading in Runescape : ) to people complaining that it wasn't as good as age of empires 3 , which I feel is a completely unfair comparison. A java based MMORPG which has just experimented with the RTS concept for the first time simply can not compare to games like age3 which are produced by companies that specialise in RTS. Some people need to accept MA for what it is (<- a comment not aimed at anyone in particular just the general feeling I got in the first week of MA). That said I also completely agree with what others have said criticising MA. To be honest many of the games modes are obvious tech demo's designed more to see what can be done with the Runescape engine rather than focusing on entertainment value/game play. In many cases the games are just not fun. Take conflict for example; there is really no incentive to actually play the game. Most people don't even engage in combat past the 10 orders (or whatever) you need to issue to get your rank, and just sit there waiting out the game. And I don't blame them, for all the extra effort you have to put in to win you only get one extra rank. On top of that you get no guarantee that you'll actually win if you do play the game properly so after all that extra effort you will probably still end up with the same reward as someone who just sat there. The same could be said to varying degrees with the other game modes. I do like hoard however, I find it forces people to actually play the game and it's fun to battle over the cave entrances. In my opinion the rewards, for what they are, are completely unbalanced compared to the amount of time and effort required to get the highest level kit. I have absolutely no interest in getting a uniform that has no stat bonuses considering all the effort that is required to get them. The quest kit is interesting, but Ive been able to do the quests without it up till now, and to be honest I dont think its worth grinding away at MA to get the highest level quest kit. Same with the locators, a cool idea but it doesnt really take that long to get to my favourite resource spots without it irony is that in the time it would take to get the highest level locator I could make a fair bit of cash through using the old fashion walking/teleport methods to get to the resources. After all those hundreds of games and tens of hours playing the arguably best reward is a simple ring that grants +6 to all stats... A bit over rated considering the amount of effort and frustration needed to get it. Especially as it now seems that people are having to essentially cheat to get it. Personally i think the rewards are good as it is, but perhaps you could add more? The uniforms i agree is absolutely useless. The rings however are great. The locator is pretty good if you ask me, but it could be modified so that it will be a better advantage. I mean it takes 4 minutes to get 50 charge teleports back into the Superior locator! That's worth the struggle if you ask me. The quest kit is very handy for quests without guides out yet. It also can be used for other tasks i bet. But like i said somewhere. You need to get +4 ranks if you win and +1 if you loose, that way it goes a bit faster and the game should only need 12 players to start. P.S As a experienced Warrior, i can say that the rings can make a big difference in certain areas of monster killings and i am very eager to test them out once i get my hands on them.
