What movie(s) did you last see?

Featured Replies

- Toy Story 3: Gave me an awesome nostalgic feeling! Even when not seeing Toy Story 1 and 2 in years!

- Vampires Suck: Had a good laugh once. All the other 'good' ones can bee seen in the trailer, so they aren't funny anymore. It was a weak movie overall. Though the girl there played Bella pretty well imo.

- The Nightmare before Christmas: Story is good. The singing is awesome! Very good movie!

  • I haven't finished it yet, but started watching Forrest Gump...now I understand the line "Run, Forrest, Run!" at least <_<.

  • I watched Ghostbusters last night. Funny movie for those who haven't seen it.

[hide]Old Joe knew Young Joe was at the farm with Cid because of his memories. He also saw Young Joe smashing his cell phone instead of going to the train station earlier in the film[/hide] [hide]I c

Watched Talladega Nights last night. I've seen it plenty of time before, but it is funny. I also watched Terminator which I had never seen much of. It was pretty good, despite its age.

Finished Dexter season 3 last night... Now onto 4!

I recently started re-watching Dexter, so good! Opening scene is brilliantly done. :) Have you read the books?

I saw Jackass 3D at the midnight premiere last night. :) Funny as hell.

The introduction always reminds me of the Nip/Tuck intro  In the sense that they're both kind of beautiful/artistic but with a layer of creepiness. I have not read the books ;o Definitely something I should look into :)

As a followup, I finished season 4 just now.

Ooo, I haven't heard of Nip/Tuck - will need to take a look at it now!

The books are definitely a good read, they have the same characters mostly, but have very different plots to the series. I found them quite an intriguing read though, was nice to have a different plot - didn't know what would happen! :)

Aside, I didn't realise the new Supernatural series had started! Definitely going to look into that...

I'm glad they have a different plot! I took a quick glance at the description of the first book and it wasn't clear to me right away if the plots were the same or not. It wouldn't be very fun to read them if I already knew everything that was going to happen  But yeah, I'll totally add them to my queue of books to read!

And I'm pretty fond of Nip/Tuck :P It's basically a show about plastic surgery but there are a lot of murders, crime and incredibly interesting plastic surgery stories tied in. It's kind of amazing/fun to see the different reasons people go in for plastic surgery and have a laugh about it. Although in warning, the first two seasons or so are excellent, but after that it does go downhill quite a bit.

Oh and there's sex. Lots of sex.

I re-watched Casablanca last night and will probably do so again tomorrow night (I'm going to be writing a paper on the film here in a week or so).

Watched Ernest Scared Stupid (twice now, this year) and still love it. I also watched Hocus Pocus, which is kind of a Halloween tradition in my house. Oh, and both The Addams Family and The Adams Family Values. They both make me laugh.

Just watched the first episode of Nip/Tuck - was really impressed by it, very captivating. Pretty full-on right from the start though! :P

Thanks for the description and recommendation!

^,

I remember Hocus Pocus, heh, good film! :)

Kick Ass - Funny movie, really wasn't what I expected and I enjoyed it :)

Machete - What an awful movie...

The Expendables - Enjoyed it, fun movie

Prince of Persia; The Sands of Time - Enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I'm a fan of the games and I think the movie did the games good justice

The Incredible Hulk -

I love N_odie and would never edit his posts! I love Rainy_Day too <3 And also Cowman_133. <33 Oh, and Laikrob is a going to hunt me down and kill me like a pest kangaroo if I reveal how awesome she is. I owe tripsis skittles. DarkDude feels like he's missing out. This is my siggy! - n_odie Rainy_Day MINE! - n_odie Rainy_Day And meol shouldn't feel left out. Oh, and Y_Guy is a noob awesome

Machete - AWESOME. I would expect a decent amount of people not to like it though, if you go into this movie expecting anything other than what it was then you will probably be disappointed and think it is bad. Just from watching the first fake trailer in Grindhouse and knowing Rodriguez was behind it I had an idea of what to expect, and it was exactly what I thought it would be, except even more enjoyable.

EDIT:

Another one...

Jonah Hex - About as bad as I expected, which was pretty bad.
