Guy
Note: I haven't found any other threads on this. Please direct me if you've found 1 What are your views on this? For those that don't know, Baby Peter was tortured to death, and found dead at age 17 months in August 2007. Tracey Connelly and Steven Barker, and their lodger Jason Owen have all been charged with Baby Peters death, all sentenced to life in prison. BUT, in May, Connelly was jailed for a minimum of five years; Barker a minimum of 12; and Owen a minimum of three. Tracey Connelly could be a free woman in 2012. 5 years for killing a baby who knew nothing other than pain? Read more at this link. Peter was left in his cot for hours on end, was treated worse than a dog, had his fingertips sliced off with a craft knife, his nails pulled out with pliers and every scrap of his clothing was covered in blood. How a mother could do such things to her child, I don't know. She must be some sadistic woman who enjoys torturing her children. Whats more, when (notice, when, not if) they are all released from jail, the taxpayer, that's right, us, will have to pay for their name being changed, and police being on hand 24/7 and them having personal alarm buttons. That's at an expense of 1 million pounds per year. That's our pathetic justice system for you. "Maybe our government should stop protecting the rights of evil scum and protect the little helpless ones who can't protect themselves." Fortunately, their sentence is under review as many think it's too short. The doctors and care workers who were assigned to Baby Peter have been fired, but seem to think that that was in error. What [cabbage]. Anyway, what do you think? RIP TET "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." - Friedrich Nietzsche
Pinkbullet3
Sick minded [bleep]s deserve to be shot. Is there a reason behind these peoples' madness? Perhaps they're just crazy. I'd like to see the same treatment done to them, though of course people will argue otherwise... ^ Blog.

l0rd
In American prisons, there's a good chance they wouldn't stay alive a week in prison with a reputation like that. Wisp
Then don't consider them human. Ok, I can see someone murdering someone for something they did to them. I can see wanting to kill your spouse if they do something terrible or cheat on you or whatever. It's still a terrible thing to do. But this, this is worse. They took an innocent kid, and for no [bleep]ing reason, they tortured it, just for sadistic pleasure. What the [bleep] did the kid ever do to them? It's not like it was a crime of passion, it's just some twisted animals torturing something for fun. istolethepie, I did too. That doesn't mean they deserve to be tortured. You people are starting to remind me of PETA. -.- I never said they deserved to be tortured. They deserve solitary confinement for the rest of their lives. And PETA would get mad if I said they were "twisted animals". Jernlov
I really believe that some of you really need to think carefully about your responses to threads like these. All you ever say is "kill them" - well, what is that going to solve? Sure, taxpayer's money, so on, but I can't bring myself to believe that taking another human's life is the correct course of action regardless of the circumstances. They did a terrible thing and there's no denying that, but you're taking it too far in my eyes by saying such things. It's pretty much what other posters have already said before me: eye for an eye BS and such. I don't believe in atoning for one's crimes either. I'm a firm believer in what's done is done; you can't go back and change it. Ugh. I'm just fed up with seeing the same stupid replies in every thread like this. Grow up. They should all get life sentences. Throw their [wagon] back in jail!... Steam | Soup | Last.fm

Jernlov
Just the way you worded it irks me. It's kind of non-constructive and a bit... arrogant, really. I'm not trying to moderate by the way; I just wanted to kind of vent about some of the replies I've observed over time. Zierro
I love it when people condemn the old eye for an eye. I have a legit question. If someone broke into your house, killed your whole family, but left you alive and walked away, what would you do? Would you say, "Oh what a poor misguided soul! I hope they get the help they need!" Really, think deep about that question. I am for forgiveness and everything, but there's just a point where forgiveness doesn't accomplish anything but encourage this kind of horrible behavior. Bullies don't pick on bullies, they pick on the helpless. Anyone know why? Because bullies are fine with giving it but they don't want to take it. If you make society into a helpless little child that gives massages to serial killers, doesn't that make us an easier target?

Well, after that brutal triple murder, the guy would get the death sentence. Seriously people. You sound like little kids. Maybe have a teensy bit of faith in our justice system, yes, that's the one, that one that millions and millions of men have given their lives for over the years. (By "ours" I mean America's) What for? We've seen it fail over and over again, and besides, the justice system isn't justice, it's just a (lame) system. nerdboyxxx
Give them everything back. Just make them suffer as long as possible. Yes, doing this isn't exactly making anything better, but they deserve it. If they get away with this, someone should find out what they changed there names to and give them everything back. Zierro
1. If a Builder builds a house for someone, and does not construct it properly, and the house which he built falls in and kills its owner, then that builder shall be put to death. 2. If any one steal cattle or sheep, or an [wagon], or a pig or a goat, if it belong to a god or to the court, the thief shall pay thirtyfold; if they belonged to a freed man of the king he shall pay tenfold; if the thief has nothing with which to pay he shall be put to death. Oh, and my personal favorite... 3. If any one be guilty of incest with his mother after his father, both shall be burned. Yeah, because Nick and I are arguing off the basis of religion. -.-
