I Believe that a Noob is anyone no matter what combat level who is ignorant about the game

A noob is anyone who pisses you off in the slightest regardless of the persons level, experience, money, combat, etc.

 

 

 

Thus, you are all noobs.

Noob is the online word for something like "idiot". There really isn't a strict code on when or where it should be used. People throw it around to be funny or offensive.

This doesn't really look like a debate, but I'll give my opinion anyway.

 

 

 

"Noob" is a seriously overused word, like "lol". "Lol" is used like a filler of space, when you don't have anything much to say. "Lol" is supposed to be laugh out loud but it seems many of the circumstances where it is used aren't even funny.

 

 

 

Now back to the word "noob". So many people overuse it that it has lost it's real meaning, i.e. someone who is ignorant about the game. It's being used as an "insult" for anyone who pisses you off in any way, or used as a joke.

No you didn't.

Anyone lower level than me, they are noobs

 

Anyone higher level than me, they are no-lifer noobs

Noob is in the eye of the beholder.

Noob is as noob does.

To noob or not to noob, that is the question.

A noob can be many things and here is my definition:

 

 

 

- Someone who calls other players "Noobs" in a serious sense

 

- Someone who keeps thinking of the word "Noob"

 

- Someone who's immature

 

- Someone who asks what definition of noob is.

 

 

 

It's clear what noob is...players who are misbehaving and being immature. Noob is just the name used by those players to call others bad name.

I actually despise the overuse of the term. With that being said I feel like a noob doesn't mean new per se, more anyone who is super irritating.

 

For instance I get asked about my bunny ears a lot and if someone asks me what they are, that's not noobish, that's curiosity, but when someone then pesters me and tells them im lying about them being untradeable, that's annoying, and as such, noobish

It has no meaning anymore, it's just too overused.

Thus leading me to believe that noob is a meaningless word now. It's something the ignorant masses spew out when they are angered. It used to have meaning, but is now meaningless ironic movement of the vocal chords (or fingers).

 

 

 

Newb is a person that is new to the game. Not necessarily a negative thing, just new. IMO all over variations I've described above.

A "noob" is someone who doesn't use tif :thumbsup:

A noob is a new player to any game... As far as i can see, it should stop there.
