May 18th (Well more or less 17th but hey)

 

Ok soooooooooo, got 99 WC on Wednesday, then spent basically all of Thursday working on a Uni assignment, that was fun. Last assignment for this semester which is something that makes me feel good :D Anyway, after finishing my assignment yesterday I wanted to do something a bit different and fun, so I decided to try maging automatons rather than meleeing. It was quite fun I have to say, and a nice change of pace. I'm tired as hell at the moment so this update probably isn't going to read all that well, but anyway I digress. On that auto trip I managed to pick up another set of gloves, this time Static. At the end of that trip my total auto count looked something like this:

 

- 3 one hour trips

- Cresbot

- 1 Effigy

- Pneumatic Gloves

- Static Gloves

 

Not half bad if you ask me :D So with that done I think I might try ranging the generators next, aim to get myself a pair of tracking gloves as well. On that note I did try a 30 min trip ranging them today, after a rather dull Armadyl trip with Mike. The 30 min trip told me that range isn't as fun as mage and melee, but its still quite effective there. I also managed to pick up another effigy which was a win (Y). But yeah thats all sorta minor stuff, the biggy today was that I finally upgraded my Yellow Partyhat to a Green, something I have been wanting to do ever since I bought the Yellow :D I've keepsaked this Green, just as my Yellow was, and it won't ever be leaving that unless sometime down the track I decide to upgrade to a White, but I don't think thats too likely. I also decided to do a rough pc on my bank to get an idea of where I'm at, and damn son I'm quite happy with it. I don't know the exact value because its TOO DAMN HIGH, plus another ~80-100m could be added for my keepsake Third-Age plus other stuff in bank that wouldn't fit in inv, but yeah I'm happy :D Thats all for now, probably get back to skilling tomorrow.... maybe.

Alright been a few days since I last updated this, again :D. I spent most of my weekend at Dominion Tower busting out the final desert elite task, that was fun. Didn't really get up to much other than that, asides from a few levels. One of those levels was 93 Agility, which was the one thing holding me back from doing that DT task, because I wanted to use the reward lamps on Agility. Also did a bit of Thieving, and running some pretty rough calcs it looks as though I could probably get 99 Thieving in 24 hours or less from where I am now, so I think thats my next objective. Have to say its starting to seem pretty close, Comp that is, because looking at my skills the large majority are all now 99. Not quite sure how long 120 Dunge will take, but I'm doing my daily sinkholes so that cuts into it a bit. By the time I finish with all the other skills and start on Dunge, should have gotten a few mil exp from sinks alone. Thats probably all for now, gonna power out 93 Fish so that my Tears go back on Agility, then start on the Thieving.

So I've figured that I will just power out 99 Thieving over the next week or however long it takes, can't imagine that'll be too long. Its feasible that I might be able to get it Sunday night, but now that my Uni lectures are finished for the semester I have Mondays off, so I might get it then. After I knock off 99 Thieving I'll really only have Agility, RC, Fishing and Dunge to go till Comp. I think I'll more or less go straight into 99 RC after Thieving, so once that gets finished I really will be getting quite close to comp. I get the feeling theres another BXP weekend coming up in the not too distant future, but I also get the feeling thats gonna occur while I'm away in Europe. Will be sad if this is the case :D As far as an actual update goes, got 94 Thieving, not a lot, but its something :P Also, with his digging up of the past, Mike inspired me to go looking for my 99 Def pic (My first 99). I managed to find it, haven't laid eyes on it since 2008, was quite funny seeing it again haha. All for now :)

I've begun working towards 99 Thieving, and so far so good. Theres been the NBA conference finals which means I've spent good portions of my day at span and watching them, but other than that I've been at PP slaving away. Its really not as bad as I figured knowing that the experience really is just so fast. Its nice to know that even though I have effectively only just started, I'm already under 20 hours to 99. Early tonight a mate of mine achieved his Comp, so I have a new burst of motivation to get mine too :3 Currently I only have 29 levels to go, which really isn't a lot in the scheme of things. I'd love to bring that number down quite a lot before I go to Europe. Somewhere around the ~15 mark sounds good to me. But I'll be happy with under 20. Also, with my PP today I managed to get my Black Ibis boots, so now I have the full set and the Scep of the Gods. Got my first three pieces before the Scep, so idk exactly how much it improves your chance at getting Ibis. I might give dwarven traders a shot sometime, just to change things up, but we'll see. Thats all for now, stay tuned :)

May 27th

 

Updates seem to be sorta not so daily anymore, ah well :D Been quite productive since my latest update, 94 Fish was one of the levels I got, which was part of that mini update, but yeah. So I've been progressing alright with Thieving, I could be 99 by now if I'd really pushed it hard, but with NBA working out to be on daily, I've spent a lot more time at Span and not so much doing Thiev. RC is progressing quite nicely really, seeing as I haven't even started the push for 99 yet, and I'm already almost at 95. That really shouldn't be too hard to get to 99. Up to 97 Thieving now, and will probably be moving 99 to Tuesday, rather than Monday due to some IRL stuff thats caused setbacks :D I also took an evening off to quickly get 113 Dunge, which meant that I could unlock my final music track. With that done I literally only have level requirements left for Comp, which really is a great feeling. Thats all for now, 99 Thieving in the next few days, mgiht not update again till then.

But yeah the umpires interpretation does change fairly regularly. :P

May 29th

 

Another 99 done, thats 21/25 now, quite a nice figure I have to say. Thieving wasn't bad at all, easily one of the faster 99s in the game with over 250k exp per hour, although towards the end it did get quite boring. Still now that its finished I only have Runecrafting, Fishing, Agility and Dungeoneering left to do. RC will be the next one I take care of, then I haven't quite decided where to go from there. I have a trip to Europe coming up in about 3 weeks, and I'll be gone for 5 weeks. Before my trip I have my Uni exams so my playtime will probably be cut down quite a fair bit. Ideally I'd get 99 RC before my trip, but I won't push it too much. That's really all for now, I'll probably start on 99 RC within the next few days, just under 4.2m exp to go :D

Went on a quick DKs trip with Mike to celebrate him getting a Yak, first time either of us had done it on EoC so I'll admit the set ups were less than ideal, bringing way too much food and not enough prayer. Still it was quite fun, and it was a pretty good trip overall for only 2 Overloads. We managed to pull 3 axes within the first two doses of Ovl which is always nice, then rounded it out with a Warrior and a Zerker.

Have to say I've sort of hit a wall after 99 Thieving. My motivation to RC is pretty much zero at this point, so I'm not sure when I'll really start on that. As far as a skill goes I'm sort of feeling Fishing at the moment, so I may change my plans and power that out next, thats to be decided :D Just a quick update for another DKs trip Mike and I went on. This one was also quite successful I guess, we got every drop other than an Archers Ring, so not a bad haul. Apoloogises again for the shitty JPG Puushs, not quite sure why it isnt doing PNGs anymore.

Mike tellied a bit before me, so I stayed and solo'd a few rounds. From the moment we got the zerker onward I kept going on about getting a Seers and Archers in the trip so that we had a full drop set, didn't get the Archers but managed the pull the Seers on my last kill before I tellied :D Thats all for now :)
