Anyways beyond that the games last night both were pretty hard to watch, I atleast expected BSU to throw down some crazy offense. This weekend for me the season really starts, tommorow my Crimson Tide(#5) will face the Virginia Tech Hokies(#7) and I'm excited as hell! Last year we played a similar game against Clemson and it jump started our entire season, I'm hoping this game will have similar effects. VT is coming in with a mad defense and Tyrod Taylor is an explosive player that will either have a huge play or a horrible interception, though I guess new season new mentality. Our defense is absolutely stacked and honestly I think it could be the best in the country this season.
Also a few other big games tommorow, Oklahoma State(#9) vs. Georgia(#13). Peronsally I can hardly name 1 player UGA has returning from a season ago, I'm quite suprised to see them with such a high pre-season ranking. But as I know they are an SEC team, and a power house at that, so I can't allow myself to count them out. OK State comes in with possibly the best offense in the nation, returning stars Zac Robinson(QB), Dez Bryant(WR), and Kendall Hunter(RB). Not to mention a new defensive coordinator who is planning to step up the reputation of OK State's defense.
Another big game is Oklahoma(#3) vs. BYU(#20), to be honest I'd be lieing to say I knew a lot about this game, I know that OU's best reciever threat in TE Jermaine Gresham will be out with an injury, as well they bring in 4 new starters on the O-line. With that said I know next to nothing about BYU, I know a lot of their players are married but that's about it. Even with the problems OU has coming into this game I still see them as a HEAVY favorite.
With about 10 different teams in the title chase this year it promises to be an exciting season, every one is still in it(aside of Oregon or any non-BCS schools)and everyone is so far undefeated. But anyways I just wanted to see if anyone is as excited as me for this season of NCAA football, feel free to talk about any CFB subjects, I know people have thoughts on that Boise incedent. If you ARE NOT a fan of American football, just please keep your reasons why to yourself, I don't want any non-CFB related arguements, I don't care why you think -insert sport- is harder/better.

OKST vs UGA, i think Oklahoma St takes this one. UGA just lost to many of its playmakers. Its always tough to play a SEC team, but Oklahoma St has had a pretty strong showing the last few years. I'm looking forward to the FSU vs Miami game. Both should be very good this year, both are very young teams. This should be a game to watch.
Something else i look forward to is just seeing individual teams, see how they come out. Namly, GT, UNC, Florida, etc. I'm a bit surprised to see new names in the preseason top 25, like UNC and Mississippi. Should be interesting to see how they turn out.
Clemson fan myself, we should get an easy win to start this year, Middle TN St.

I think your Bama boys are going to have their hands full. VT is the front runner to win the ACC this year and a darkhorse for a top 5 finish overall. They should have a very good team. I'm marking down VT for a win here, i think they can pull off the upset.

Honestly when you mention Bama's rivals you'd think LSU would be our game to watch this year, but I am sincerly worried about Ole' Miss. We play them AT Ole' Miss, not to mention we BARELY squeeked by with a 3 point vitory last year(17-14), and they had the ball with about 1:30 left so they easily COULD have beaten us. Though I'll say that was easily the best game I attended last year, low scoring but very exciting defensive battle, one of those games were even an extra point is crucial. I think the winner of us and them will represent the SEC Western Division in the title game vs Florida(They're a lock to win the East). Though I guess LSU has been keeping pretty quiet, I really should give them more credit, they could come out and beat both us and Mississippi. But man I tell ya', if VT beats us I will be shocked, our offense is ready to show people we can throw the ball this year were as last year it was 5-yard run x10 for a TD or a broen tackle for an 80-yard run. Our new QB Greg McElroy was the best HS QB in Texas his senior season, and everyone knows Texas HS football is arguably the most competitive in the country. He's a smart guy, maybe his deep ball won't be as good as JP's was but I think overall he's going to be a much better overall package than JP was. Regardless the game isn't played on paper so I guess I'll have to wait and see, I'm hoping for a great game and honestly I am about to burst with excitement

Lets see...
BYU beat Oaklahoma, mostly due to Bradford getting hurt.
Bama beat Virginia Tech, go bama!!!! I hate VT with a passion

Another good game was Ohios state beating Navy...barely. I dont think Ohio is going to be as good as they are all craked up to be.
Oaklahoma state beat Georiga. Kinda suprised about this one, but ah well... go Oaklahoma.
So far a good week of college football

I hope Cal wins the Pac-10 this year. I'm surprised USC fans aren't getting annoyed that their team can't get anything better than a Rose Bowl....

I just wanted them to win because they were ranked lower (as in 25 instead of 16.)

I was pretty impressed myself, I thought LSU was going to come out and dominate, but UW came out and played with a new attitude, I think they'll win quite a few games this season. I was really worried about how LSU and Ole' Miss would come out and play but after this weekend I think my Tide are a lock for the SEC championship game

I hate that Sam Bradford got hurt.
First off. It is bad about Sam. Hope he is not out to long...
Second off... Michian can keep Rich Rod. By the looks of it he killed a amazing program in one season (WVU ALL THE WAY!!

Actually...they didn't do to bad. I wish Michigan the best
