Shadd
Regardless of the director it won't match up to the game. I wouldn't be so sure of that considering todays' technology, especially in the movie industry. But then again, you could be right
Zonorhc
Peter Jackson is the executive producer, not director. Just be glad it isn't Uwe Boll. Varrock Library: Shattered Sky | Silent Thunder | The Emperor's FinestAstri @ MythWeavers

It sucked for PC. I think the plot is pretty compelling for a movie in the first game for those that know it, but they'd have to add some character interaction, cuz its just MC alone the entire time with that chick in his head. What are you kidding me? I could easily think of 20 games that deserve a movie far more than this. The story in this is more of an after thought than a fully fleshed out story. Not to mention...LOTR (since Peter Jackson is involved [though not even directing], all those LOTR junkies will be in the mix)+Halo is a dangerous mix. I'm not going near the theatre until all the rush of those people is over. Actually, what am I talking about, I'm not giving Microsoft any more money. Halo was a horrible game. I'll wait for DVD. And this is clearly only a cry for money, and to appeal those blasted Halo fans, who don't know what a good game is. Regardless of the director it won't match up to the game. *shivers*

What product isn't created to make money?, and what entertainment product isn't targeted at a certain group of people to produce the maximum amount of income possible? Also, I don't mind another person disliking what I like, but is it necissary to say Halo fans have bad taste? I'm sure you would be just as annoyed if I said you had bad taste for not liking something I like.
Mercifull
I do worry a LOT about this movie. I recent saw a trailer for Doom the Movie and I was shocked to see that it had a large section of first person perspective. This is awful filmmaking tecnique and i refuse to seem Doom because of this. If Jackson attempts to use first person in the halo film i again will not hand my money over to a lazy filmmaker. How2PK
Mr. Putter, what do you mean with LOTR + HALO is a dangerous mix? :? If you look at his older movies, would you think it is possible he did the Lord of the Rings trilogy? :? Zonorhc
I'd say the Warhammer 40,000 universe deserves a movie far more than Halo, myself. It just isn't in the mainstream, hence the lack of interest. It would be nice, though, if they made a movie FOR THE EMPEROR. Like 90% of the MTV generation...They only like things because they are crammed down their throats. Even though Halo is a terrible game, people think they like it just because that's what's popular and that's what everybody else is doing. LOTR is a good movie, but I was mainly dealing more at Halo with my prior comments.

Lionheart_0
:? I dont know how that movie would go... The story is actuly very good if you read the books. But the thing is... i think this movie would be fan motivated. I once went onto the bungi forums, and on there they had a topic about some people wishing to have a halo movie. I think this topic had more replys and even more views then any topic ive ever seen on these forums... and ive seen some preatty lengthy topics. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! There aren't really many fans of Jackson who are as diehard as Halo fans, and Halo is one of the largest "Jock games", at least here in the U.S., which means that most of the diehard fans are jocks/idiots. Most true gamers don't like Halo much..
ShakaKhan70
I wish people would stop bashing Halo and Halo fans. I got hooked on it when it first came out because it was a great game to me and a lot of fun. I think just like how there are people who are "force fed" mainstream games, there are those who automatically hate mainstream things just because they wish to appear above the average populace, even if they might really like the game if they gave it a chance.
