December 3, 200916 yr I'm not just basing this off of the responses in this thread but over the past month from my own general observations and conversations with people I feel like the PS3 is going to be the number #1 console sold this holiday season. I think the recent price drop has a lot to do with that too. I don't think anyone would disagree that the PS3 is better then the Xbox 360 the only different before hand was that the MSRP of the PS3 was like $100 more then the 360 and now that they are basically at an even price point we're going to see PS3 sales increase this Holiday season.

Japan sales will contribute massively what with FF XIII being exclusive over there. Woo GT5 demo on Dec 17th, and one of the holders in the top 20 fastest times will get a chance to race for GT Academy :-o

My PS2 broke by the time those games came out so I moved on to an xbox. I'll probably pick them up now that they have been ported to the PS3.

I just played the Chains of Olympus demo on PSP. In other words, I don't know anything about the story. But like I said, I probably won't buy it.

Weird. Have you tried any other type of cable to connect your PS3 on your new tv?

Just switch TV and PS3 off, plug them in, put the HDMI cable in both, then make sure the PS3 is in standby (Red LED), and hold the power button. It will bleep once, then again. At this, you let go and it will be showing on your TV at 540p. Just click 'Yes' then 'Yes', then if that resolution is ok, click 'Yes' again. Problem solved.
