You guys just need to wait stores still need to restock from Christmas shoppers. I always think it is funny how many people run out the day after Christmas expecting stores to be magically restocked with everything.

I just got Ps3 for Christmas :D and so far I only have Mx vs Atv Reflex, thinking about getting Uncharted 1 & 2. I have $105 in gift cards to spend at Best Buy, so obviously I can buy any games or other accesories. Any other suggestions for like shooter/adventure games? Not really looking for war games, but more something that has a good story in single player and then good online play. Thanks in advance, oh and my PSN is KxRacer159, feel free to add me & chat!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Amazing storyline, albeit a bit short, and the online is just amazing. It is the best fps on any system currently, although Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be out March, and I think it might knock COD off it's plateau. It is a war game however.. Adventure, I'd go for perhaps Dragon Age:Origins, or God of War collectors edition. It's only $50 on Ebay, not sure about stores.

Because I'm gonna head to Best Buy and pick up Uncharted 2 and LittleBigPlanet: Game of the Year Edition tommorow.

Well seems like stores are "in stock" as of 8PM EST... so hopefully I can get over there tomorrow and check.

If I'm honest, I'd rather get my Ps3 online, from Ebay or such. I paid only $355 AUD for a ps3, MW2 and COD4 with 2 controllers. I'd pay $499 for the ps3 and 1 game with 1 controller in stores. It only took 3 days to arrive as well, and it has no issues. The main reason for it would be that a Ps3 isn't region locked, so you can play games from anywhere.

Instead I've opted to go in for a new TV with my roomate and I may get myself a monitor as well. I looked at all of the games I wanted to really play on the PS3 and it just wasn't that many of them.

The TV is definitely the most important part so you should definitely focus on that first, but once you have a nice TV and see a good looking movie (like The Fall) on blu-ray then you might get more excited for it. DVD quality is good, and on a nice TV + good upconverter even look better, but blu-ray look fantastic. The PS3 is the most future proof blu-ray player (it's even going to handle the upcoming 3D profile) also, but you can get a normal blu-ray player for cheaper.

I haven't played it, but I really want it. I've found that it's hard to find on the PS3 though. If you can find it, I'd say go for it - it's supposed to be great.

 

You could also try the first Uncharted, which is $30 now, new (Gamestop.com)

You could probably buy new copies of Uncharted 2 off eBay for cheaper.

 

I bought LBP: Game of the Year Edition, fully sealed off eBay for $43 (shipping included). It should get to my house next week.

 

Oh, and the MAG Public Beta came out. You can download it off the PS Store, but the servers don't go up until January 4th. So, you can install it, but can't play until Monday.

Or you just can just get the "Greatest Hits/ The Best" editions of some premium games. Some of it comes in red casing though (not the usual white casing), but it's still the same game, just cheaper.

I finally got my PS3 today! I only have Rock Band 2 currently (was gonna get a headset and MW2 but a surprise $80 to insure it popped up >.<)

BioShock for $20 sounds like a great deal. I've only played a demo, and I found it hard, but awesome nonetheless.

Bought Critter Crunch, Hustle Kings and Trine off the store. All of which are bargains with the amount of content and great games.
