Saru Inc
Cartoon Network was, is, and always will be a cesspool of unoriginal filth. Hell, most of tv is. I prefer old Disney cartoons with pluto, tom and jerry etc. (Yes, I know Tom nd Jerry is on boomerang, which is a subsection of Cartoon Network. I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001. stevepole
Well first off Nirvana will never get back together because Kurt Cobain is dead. Ed, Edd n Eddy started in 99 so it is barely apart of the 90s. Most people here never really took part of the 90s or were way to young to even remember it. I was kidding about Nirvana getting back together. Obviously Kurt can't come back. And I think that may be one of the reasons why I don't like today's youth. They have no connection to the 90's. Yes, I realize Ed, Edd and Eddy is '99, but so are a lot of great 90's happenings. For instance, Pokemon started in like '96 if I remember correctly, but didn't explode in popularity until like '98. It's still 90's. I think I'll wear a plaid shirt around my waist and cut up a pair of jeans tommorow... Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. You need some doc martins to go along with the plaid shirt and jeans and a black tshirt and the outfit is complete.
The Dark Lord
Just found some old stuff from the 90s. :P Ren and Stimpyhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnfO5TMpWwc&feature=related Cow and Chickenhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rtojm4fgDeU&feature=related It's a shame that you can't find Ren and Stimpy stuff anymore. Damn political correctness. I miss my sexual innuendo and brutal violence! :( The guy that made the cartoon got fired from Nickolodeon because the cartoon was brutally violent and had sexual innuendo and lots of profanity. It was aired on a kids' network. LOL. SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.

And i don't just mean that Sarah Bellum lived on 69 (something sexual can't think of it) street. Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. JeremyM
I hope those bands you mentioned never set foot in a recording studio ever again. I expected a reply like this :PI dmit, my taste in music is aged...and frequently disagreed on. BUt you can't say that Fred Durst wasn't one of the key voices of the Nu-Metal ('rapcore' as the call it now) movement. I love my grunge. I love my 90's Nu-Metal. and the 1990's was the best decade representing those genres. Of course, I have other tastes, but I practically grew up on Limp Bizkit and KoRn. Of course Limp Bizkit were massively successful, but to me they are an absolute travesty. It seems a real shame that you Yanks had bands like that when here in the UK we got to enjoy Britpop. Suede aren't the best example of Britpop, but this song always makes me feel very 90's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaEc_5abpfA Truly a shame we missed that! [Admin Edit: Attempting to publicly humiliate a user in your signature is inappropriate] Quit Runescape... warri0r45
Some of my favourite bands released their best stuff in the 90's. Any true death metal fan knows the late 80's and early 90's were the peak of the genre. I can't say there was anything inherently superior about the decade music-wise, though. I love heaps of music from this decade as well. Some classics from the 60's and 70's are great too.

Omar
Any generation will tell you the same thing. You enjoy yourself when you're a kid, and what surrounded those years sticks with you, then you grow into an all-criticizing [bleep]. No one should have to grow up. Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. You want everything that's--falls off garbage can Camera guy: Whoa, haha, are you okay dude? Matt: You want anything funny that happens, don't you? Camera guy: still laughing Matt: You want the funny shit that happens here and there, you think it comes out of your [bleep]ing [wagon] pushes garbage can down, don't you? You think it's funny? It comes out of here! running towards Camera guy Camera guy: runs away still laughing Matt: You think the funny comes out of your mother[bleep]ing creativity? Comes out of Satan, mother[bleep]er! nn--ngh! pushes Camera guy down Camera guy: Hoooholy [bleep]! Matt: FUNNY ISN'T REAL! FUNNY ISN'T REAL! Maze
Yeah, I watch 90s cartoons on Boomerang sometimes and I couldn't believe the sexual inneundo that I heard on it. I didn't remember that as a kid. Like on Cow and Chicken, where that guy says to Chicken, "Nice beak there!"
Mirror
Born in '89 here, so I grew up in the 90's and I read that 'over 30' thing and even though I'm not over 30, I still understood everything on that list but don't agree with everything. As people have said, you'll think A is better because you grew up with A. I didn't really start listening to music until I got out of high school. *awaits brutal punishments* Also whoever mentioned Mario, yeah, that was 80's, not 90's... A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
SecretAgent
The 90's. I was born in 92, I remember all the TV and stuff. But by far I loved the music of the 90's more. Now here's the catch, I didn't start listening to 90's music til 2005... But here's the bands that were in the 90's and just kicked [wagon].. R.E.M.Ocean Colour SceneSarah McLachlanOasisElasticaBlur I'm going to stop because this list would go on for a very very long time.. But I do not like grunge. Nihilism and self-loathing were never my thing.
H2PM
Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Ed Edd and Eddy movie was that creator's Swan Song dude. I was quite sad to hear this. pegpenguin
haha Born 90 here, and honestly I love the 90's, and the 80's...and the 60's...and the metal scene from the 70's. lol I'd include the 70's but I hate disco haha. And BTW, Fred Durst is an idiot with a completely unoriginal sound >.> SOAD had been an active band for I don't know how long lol still releasing albums >.> As for the cartoons, heck man, Ed, Edd, and Eddy was hilarious! I still quote it lol and I just recently started watching Pokemon again, and man the animation is so freakin crappy, and so is the story. All the peeps going on about the plot in cartoons detiorating, the shows you love had pretty crappy plots too haha scooby doo had one of the worst formats cause you always knew what was happening lol at least spongebob was spontaneous and fun lol
