Kingofthecav
Welcome to my guide on soloing tormented demons. This is my guide to killing them with a method that works very well, for me at least, and it is not hard to use. I may go add a little duo section later, but duo is really just the same as solo, just with two people. This lure was created by me, and it never really fails. Setups So I finally decided to give void another shot, and I love it. I suggest using black dragonhide until you master it, and then switch to void. It REALLY speeds up the kills. Substitutes: Godsword > Whip and Rune Defender Black d'h chaps > Veracs Skirt (You really shouldnt need to do this) Archer Ring > Zerker > Wealth/Life/Explorer/Whatever-you-want-lol Neitiznot > Verac/Torags (if you need more defence) Rune Bolts > Broad Bolts Summon potion is for points to summon second uni, and for a few hitpoints if you need them. I NEVER EVER suggest taking D hally, maybe for specs if you want, but whip is faster and If you are attacking the demon with range/hally and it is trying to melee you but can't, it will just switch attack style, so you can't even save prayer now. If you don't have SGS to spec, take enchanted excalibur. [hide=Luring]The Lure: Alright, the part most of you have been waiting for. This lure allows you to safely fight two different demon spawns, so you don't have to wait after each kill. It really speeds up your kills/hour. First, lure the northeast demon to this spot Then lure the center north demon To here Finally lure the northwest demon to here Then rotate killing the center north and northwest demon So lets say you are killing the northwest demon, and then the center north spawns, run behind the big north rock as you put mage pray on It should attack you as you run to here (with mage pray on.) Then it will be stuck behind that rock and you can finish killing the northwest one. Run to here with mage pray on to loot your drop because the center north one you just trapped will attack you Then continue on killing the center north one, and when the northwest one spawns run out to here to lure it. While killing the northwest one, either stand where I am or one spot west of it. While killing center north one, stand here. [/hide] Sorry I do not have a video, can't get Camtasia to work for me. This is a drop log I started using awhile ago, It can be found here. [hide=Drop Log (Percent) NO WEALTH][/hide] [hide=Drop Log (List)]Tormented Demons Drops (No Wealth)1. Death Runes2. Sharks3. Kingofthecav
What inventories would you suggest for those of us having to use bunyips or titans? I'm not exactly sure, I would assume it depends how could you are at tanking/prayer switching. It will probally take a few trips to get your shark:prayer pot ratio right. Take a tort or tbird, and i would try maybe 5:1 shark to prayer potion to start out. Take only one super/extreme attack strength and range potion. I don't know how much bunyip will help, but with titan you probally only need 2 sharks per prayer potion, possibly less. You really just have to experiment to see what fits you right with the gear you have.

Kingofthecav
I heard that the hand cannon is decent. You might want to try it. Alright, I will talk to some people who know how much they degrade and then maybe test them. I'm assuming it will be way more expensive than rune cbow though. bedman
Hmm, nice, but I dont really like the fact that you get interrupted while killing your demon. It will be very difficult this way to kill them within one shield. I would also suggest bringing overloads. They save space so you can bring brew or too if you want to drink after it has taken 50 hp. At the end you get this xp back, so it should be very easy this way to stay topped up hp, and its not that brews are expensive these days. A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h! Compared to killing 1 spawn, luring in the middle of the kill saves a ton of time. There is no other way to lure a second spawn consistantly without doing it when it spawns. Otherwise it will wander away or wander near you and attack you out of where you would trap it. It only takes about 3 seconds to lure it, and I miss 0 to 2 attacks depending which one I am luring and if I am ranging or meleeing.

muggiwhplar
A few things... If you aren't using void, I'd recommend wearing black d'hides instead of Karils. Mostly because the stat differences are negligible for this situation, and black d'hide is non-degradable as well as easy to replace.Instead of offering diamond bolts (e) as an alternative, you should offer runite bolts instead. They're cheaper and more powerful. I'd also recommend bringing runes for high alchemy, since the demons drop a TON of rune weapons... you can easily get 100k+ in alchables per trip

I prefer being on lunar for when I duo though and I really dont think its that big of a deal. But rune bolts are a good idea, only around 900 each compared to diamond bolts at 1.6k+ each, I will try them next trip I do.
Jehosaphat
Dhally is more worth it than you think, simply due to the fact that depending on which safespot you use, you can take no damage for at least 80+ damage dealt to the demon.

warrior5024
Take out the Sara brew and super restore and replace it with 2 summon potions. With stallion, you hardly ever need extra healing, but each dose of summon pot = 15 special points for your familiar bar, as well as summoning level boosts, so you can use your two stallions and keep good HP. One more good, fun option: Dharoks with Armadyl chest and Bow in inv. It is very fun, risky, and quick. It is tricky since you can be combo'd, but just be careful and keep your HP around 40 and you'll be whacking those TD's. So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb. Wachtwoord
I like this luring a lot. Especially because you can use one of the low populated worlds and don't have to fight for a spot on the highly populated ones for fast spawn times!
