So, have you ever solved one and what do you think of them? My record is just under a minutes at 58 seconds, but it should lower drastically as I start practicing more. If you guys want to learn, I can post the moves here.

please do solve 'moves' here i would be interested in learning. i've solved 2 sides but nothing more 8)

I don't get the fun in Rubix Cubes. Maybe I'm just not math/logic oriented. :?

The only time I've solved one it took what seemed like forever, so I don't bother with them anymore.

i only ever solved a 8 peice darth maul head one:P took ages!

Any rubiks cube can be done in 17 turns. Only if done perfectly.

I've never solved it, but i would like to learn how.

Man I just don't have the patience doing stuff like that. Besides all the free time I have is spent on my girlfriend or on RS so nothing for me :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wooooot the guy in the vid must have practised for years

After one day of learning, I could solve it in 10 minutes. After a week, I was under two. I practice in my spare time like at school when we have silent reading or in homeroom or while I'm playing rs.

How do you solve a rubix cube. :(

In about a half hour, I got a rubix cube down to the point where I only needed to move 2 more pieces and it would be finished, and then I tried to do that and completely messed it up :cry:

I never really solved it. I don't have any patience at all, after five minutes I end up cheating by changed all the stickers. :P

theres gotta be some kind of universal system that you can apply to any case of those cubes. my uncle had one where he'd use a knife to pop out the corners (even them i dont think hes ever solved one) and my system used to be taking off the stickers, but other than that no chance.

 

 

 

ive gotta go get me one so i can pratice the proper way.

They are solved with a very basic algorithm and series of moves. I've solved them before and once you understand how it is done it isn't hard at all.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Matter of fact, I was trying to build a rig today in 3D where I could control the movements of a rubix cube dynamically without any keyframes... unfortunately its harder than I thought.

You need to be a genius to do that. I just memorized the moves, it's much easier that way.
