I have a feeling that one of the new areas opened up by Zaros is the place where he lost god godship(or w/e you want to call) it to Zamorak. So with that comes a new place to train and maybe see some of Zaros's own worshipers, locked in a never ending battle due to an effect of stealing a gods power..

My idea: When Lucian is about to rise to godhood, a small gap opens up and allows Zaros to get through, and he manages to steal Lucian's power from the "other side" and he comes back.

From my understanding and reading the past few pages of the thread to come up to date Zaros doesn't seem to fit into that category of "chaos" everything said here and by various NPC's makes it seem like Zaros was actually a God of order, and a God that Guthix actually approved of. Maybe Zaros could be one of the original Gods? I mean through speculation and lack of proof I myself believe that Sara and Zammy both came into power through the same type of thing - stealing another God's power.

 

Now some semi-interesting questions for you all - It seems that everyone is saying Zaros power is being felt now back on Runescape and that he is coming back to the plane with more power than before; But what about Guthix policy? If you're a God then GTHO my world. Surely that should apply to Zaros? Or is it that everyone thinks that because Zaros' reign built, peace, harmony, and paradise that Guthix might unlock the gate for him? Oh and another thing when will Guthix stop snoozing? Surely with Zaros retuning Guthix' alarm clock should be going off right about now?

 

And also with the return of Zaros will there be God Wars: Episode 3; Revenge of the Zaros?

Zaros didn't sign the Edicts, so I believe He isn't bound to them and can do whatever He wants.

I too remember reading somewhere that Sara was human, but if I remember correctly he was such a devout folower of his god that he earned godhood.

Most of the info on the RuneScape Wiki is true actually, and I'm one of the people who try to keep it that way. If you write something new, you will have to give a source, otherwise it will get deleted. And I have read the Saradomin article and it never says anything about Saradomin being a human, that's just rubbish.

That was just me being a bit too sarcastic. I personally love the RS wiki and I use it a lot, but I sometimes stumble upon articles that are just silly.

Sorry to break it to you but... it's just total nonsense. There is not a shred of evidence anywhere about all of this. The almighty and all-knowing Misterknowitall is right about this being something made up by a wanna-be historian *cough*.

Reformists

 

Reformists numbers are unknown (though probably close to that of modernists) and are somewhat in between modernists and traditionalists in beliefs. They acknowledge Saradomin as the successor to Armadyl and Zamorak to Zaros. They say that Armadyl gave Saradomin the power of a god and Zamorak took it from Zaros. Armadyl hid away in his realm. Zaros was banished into his realm forever.

 

This idea of peaceful transferral of power between Armadyl and Saradomin is fairly unfounded, as both Armadyl and Saradomin were around at the same time, and their followers can be seen battling each other in the God Wars Dungeon. If Saradomin and Armadyl fought each other - albeit through followers - any idea of peaceful power transferral is unlikely to be true, despite Saradomin's assertions in one of the God letters that he and Armadyl were allies.

 

They acknowledge that Armadyl and Zaros are still gods but their successors have taken their place in justice and chaos. They want balance in all of Gielinor.
