So if I were to open even a small hole odds are a blast of fire would emerge hopefully far more powerful than what I would be capable of before. He then creates shielding going in a line between him and the enemy, the exact diameter of the portal. Because of the intense raw heat and radiation, anything in the path of the attack would be destroyed.
