Yep, it did. I don't remember what the feather did though. Does it allow you to fly? Is it controlled flight?

A ballista in a duel is stupid, you fire once, could easily miss (as you can out run the turning speed of a ballista easy) and you wont ever get to reload.

So it's just another weapon. As I see it if I hit you with one of my bolts it will do a heckuva lot of damage.

But seriously the chances of it happening O-o

Chances get much better when a daemon prince lops of your legs with a halberd ;)

Also when faced with a beast using magical attacks, hide behind me, my armour will cancel out any magic that hits it. (It is still a fullbody suit, it even has (clear) eye protection.)

Wrong. It will cancel out some types of magic, not all. Nex has already seen one of the golems methods of attacking, and it hits physically using magic.

 

Oh yah, I'm trying to get a regent for a really really whomping big ice leviathan thingy. Gives me something cool to burst in with when all the powerplayers stomp into the cavern. Can you imagine all these people blowing holes in the rock walls with their respective magicks and sauntering in with really big weapons and really powerful monsters? :P

Except you still can't summon anything due to the heart of glades.

We should found our own Ivory tower, with a difficult quest required to join. We could call it...the Legend's Guild! (where have we heard that before?)

 

I was thinking we could have a tower ontop of a really tall mountain, guarded by various ice, fire, water, shadow, dark, and nature enchantments.

Even with access to hammerspace, one cannot carry around a ballista.

Hmm good point ross so I would want for that turn to do a beam of hell-fire and then magedeath arrows. Also I envisioned the ballista kind of like the scorpions from the roman army (able to be put in the back of a cart and transported that way)

EDIT: On a less serious note to ross when he gets on: Would it be possible by creating compressed force crystals and a small ritual (or possibly a large one) to create a garment/ weapon that would allow a boost to movement speed?

Well I am one of the proponents of "not being total douches to eachother" in this game so I wouldn't actually smash a group of lower level players.

Not that much is going on However we did get some new players (nex and earthsage) I am currently fighting a demon who materialized upon my now broken portable altar (I am wondering if I rolled a 1 or a 20) earth and nex and mather are fighting a golem that has regenerative properties and umbra is currently a slave to a shaper master. To the best of my knowledge retech is "training" some apprentices and igos is the apprentice of a lich.
