actually.. there was a chosen guy, called the ONE, who was locked up in the mountain where you have made your home. there was a portal, you unlocked it, and he's used his epic, uber dark magic to move everythin around and send out hordes of specialty resistant enemies to attack, maim, and basically try to [bleep] us up at everyy turn.

Also if dosmembering becomes a skill, may I trade Quisitor's jaw for some exp in it, Retech?

You mean an anatomical strike skill? I like that!

It could be dependant on the race of the creature, like humanoid and dragon anatomy are two different skills. Kinda like favoured enemy.

Kemios goes searching for someone who knows how to make magical explosives, then begs to learn from him. If he accepts, Kemios learns from him. If not, Kemios flies around his castle being generally angry.

Håkon feels if he captured the knight before exploding then flies to Atlantis.

Each of the large spider webs on the walls seem to be the entrance to another part of the tunnel complex, but to where, you do not know. The portal seems much larger than necessary for a human to pass through, probaly because it has recently been stretched.

 

-Kemios

 

You have a feeling that it might be impossible to find anyone during the apocalypse, but you head to Ikana in search for one anyways. After a long search, you head into the local tavern. A cloaked figure beckons you to speak with him.

 

-Mather

 

All thoughts of capturing the knight vanish, as you see the thunder knight stomping around on some Lichtens. You fly to Atlantis, and arrive outside.

 

-Rocco

 

"Ah yes, it's quite simply a dispeller of undead. As you can see here, this rune indicates undead and this rune implies cancellation or dispelling. The ruby seems to be mainly a store of energy to power the spell, and the silver dust to make sure that it does not release the energy prematurely. Yep, a simple zombie dispel spell."

 

Though the apprentice looks rather young and inexperienced, he seems quite sure about his appraisal of the items. He does have a large bald spot, which might indicate a magical explosion or burn, however.

I think it might disspell the sun tower and summon the undead, Rocco...

Håkon enters and attempts to get to the control room in the main tower. (not that there's anything there.)

i start making bows (out of necro energy or of wood) for my skeletons. i then fire a shot at the glowiness at the center of the room.

I start tossing fireballs at all the webs from the doorway. I then remove the silver dust from my polemace, and draw two summoning circles in the ground with it.

The sun tower explodes violently, releasing a massive cloud of glass fragments, giving a bonus to solar based attacks, at the cost of a small chance of inhaling glass fragments and taking damage each turn. Luckily, Archi and Paul miraculously land unharmed near the bottom of the tower.

 

The bartender passes you an engraved ruby stone and some more silver dust, apparantly for your personal use. You are also handed an engraved ring, with no apparant magical purpose.

Atlantis has shifted dramatically into a tunnel complex, since the last time you came. You get lost and arrive in a large cathedral sized room with massive webs covering holes in the walls. There seems to be a purple glowing portal, along with Earth, Nex, Tairn, and a young Ivory mage apprentice, who is terribly hurt.

 

-Earth

 

You manage to make bows for your skeletons, but you realize that the skeletons might find it hard to shoot them with such bony fingers. Your shot passes through the portal, and disappears. Suddenly, clicking sounds begin coming from the web covered catacombs.

Your fireballs pass through the webs and disappear. You form two summoning circles, before the mage shouts at you.

 

"Quickly, we must go into that catacomb! (He points to one) The portal is in there. We must stop it before anything else is released!"

Igos checks the sun tower for anything different. After doing so, he uses his necromancy to transfer some energy from an undead corpse to Rocco, in order to heal his side.

FFS! SPIDERS!... also, retech, i had archer skeletons before, and now your telling me i cant use em? i set my skeles to firing fire arrows (i make) while i shoot acid and necro arrows at the webs and anythin g else. AND ROCCO. i wont say i told you so, but never, ever, ever do that again.

If possible, I summon the stone spirit from Ikana, or another powerful stone spirit, enlisting its help to block the passages and protect Iey and the Ivory Mage. I then withdraw the dust back into my polearm and dash towards the catacomb.

You quickly notice that the sun tower exploded, releasing massive amounts of glass dust into the air. You manage to heal Rocco.

You manage to take down a few small spiders (the size of a large dog).

The stone spirit from Ikana seems otherwise preoccupied, and the others are resisting your calls for help. You begin rushing for the catacomb, Tairn and the Ivory mage close behind. The Ivory mage manages to take down a few large spiders, before rushing into the catacomb. The Ivory mage begins sealing the portal, but you will have to delay for at least four actions.

Håkon goes near the portal and begins making ticks and releasing them into it.

 

He also tries making them able to replicate (make copies of themselves).

I withdraw the silver dust from my polemace, and drive it into and withdraw it out of the eyes and heads of the spiders. I extend all my armour spikes that won't impair movement and unleash the geomancy charge I was building to impale the spiders with spikes from the floor.

Mather... Are you making... Replicators... Now is that really a good idea...

i head down the tunnel that the others ran into, with my skeletons, firing fire, acid, and necro arrows. (skeletons do same thing)
