I have the hawk dive in front of him while I start shooting silver and mk arrows at him. I ensnare his feet with rock using geomancy as well.

I form an aerodynamic shield of wind around myself (if need be, I sacrifice my wind exp) and fly as fast as I can towards the volcano and the climbing Ivory Mage. I try bringing spikes of stone out of the ground to injure him and hit him in the spine with a metal punch dagger I form from my armour.

It doesn't reliably work like that, and shouldn't. Necro shouldn't be able to manipulate non-living substances. Even when that one Lich force-pushed Grim with the Elm Staff, it could easily have been manipulating the person's body.

 

Retech, I think you should remove the ability of Necro to manipulate inanimate objects except when it's immensely powerful. That way Earth will stop doing this, and the game will make more sense.

dude, its a form of decay. i put pure necro energy onto the rock. it decayed. where in this do i manipulate an inanimate object?

Nex, I've already given necromancy a (-10) modifier to rolls affecting inanimate objects. He got a 20 that time, meaning he had enough power to decay through a few inches of rock (it was rather thin).

Well, I just don't want him posting without thinking and getting us all killed.

I would actually avoid using most magic (aside from semi passive things like geomancy)

Hrm, so for someone like me, with the option of two magicks and nothing else, I can't exactly fight him without magick...ooo that gives me an idea /grin

Seeing how I most likely will fall asleep before the session (again), I think I'll just say this:

 

Nex, use Håkon to help you, no matter how. Let him fight, let him provide you with stuff, let him create quartz creatures to drain or fight. His strenghts are lightning, force and geo, c'bow + mk bolts or revolver works too. Just remember that I'm low on grenades.

Nothing except for in certain spells, where it gives them permanence. I can tell you if sacrificing exp does anything in a situation, but if it doesn't, then I simply don't subtract the exp.

Oh, okies, btw, um...how much black magick exp do i have? Since you never gave a +0.0# for my 2 successful spells
