If you want to capture a country, post your plans, your troop movements, and so on. It will take, in general, a minimum of 3 years to militarily capture a country, maybe 2 if you put all your effort into it. Sere, agree?

Even if the country has a thousand-man military and you have mass-army superiority in every way? Not to mention it's a dot on the map. :P

Well really were just going to move in and take surrounding villages and towns, and move onto main cities later on. We will give higher benefits to mongul-russian areas and they might sway after a few years to just surrender, and then a further few years for actual total domination.

I think the rule should simply be that you need to publish detailed plans before you engage in any mass military invasion. Or rather, if people have a problem they can go 'Oi, you, NO' and then you have to publish some detailed plans...since having detailed plans for every tedious invasion will get petty after a while. :rolleyes:

That's true. Could you give an example for a detailed plan? I don't want to have to control every small company of troops as they move through the landscape. :)

Yeah, I wasn't being serious. The Italian army is however in the second year of the Tunisian invasion. I don't really know the geography of the country, but we no doubt made landfall on the largest beach we could find and are steadily fighting our way to the capital.

 

I don't really get the point of Abyssinia though. If Archi "influences it", he basically controls it, does he not? It's not like we have AI.
