It's a series of medieval-fantasy books folowing most members of the Stark family as well as some others, it's hard to describe so here's the wikipedia page on it.

Anyway, with the additional resources and manpower employed from Africa the Swiss Space program looks set to launch in the second half of 2018, arriving in the second half of 2023.

 

Research into the P-Jet has yielded a 'High Economy' setting, which can cut fuel consumption by 50%, however it pulses out hazardous levels of X-Ray Radiation, and requires 400% of the electrical energy.

An 'Extreme High Economy' setting has also been developed, which can cut fuel consumption by 70%, however the X-Ray output is extreme, as well as requiring 5000% of the electrical energy.

Alternatively the first setting can increase acceleration by 200%, keep fuel levels the same, and have 400% electrical energy spent.

The second setting can increase acceleration by 700%, keep fuel levels the same and have 5000% electrical energy spent. Addition G-Force warning of blackout at this level (8 Gees)

 

The first setting has been intergrated into the design of all current P-Jets, except those being used on the Hover Tank, which have remained at the old settings. However there has been statement saying that the old setting will remain in use except during crisises.

The second setting has only been intergrated on the Mars Mission Craft, that said though it will only be used in emergancies, due to the massive electrical requirement.

 

In any case Tesla Coil research has begun, in the hopes of creating a wireless re-energising system which can effectively be a 'fly-by' recharge, analysts indicate that such research will take five years. The Swiss Government has given this a green light and is continuing to work on developing the Ionosphere Shield, which might be extended to X-Rays as well, effectively protecting ground installations, and people in general, from the potentinal X-Ray Radation from the high economy settings of the P-Jets.

I'm just reminding everyone that Iran wishes to be an independent entity, and they had a revolution a few years back that placed a pro-Western government into power.

Japan begins research on low-level X-ray blockers to counter the threat of a high economy P-Jet flying close to the Japanese mainland. Japan also asks Switzerland to keep its P-Jet at the normal setting when passing through Japanese airspace (when Japan actually authorizes of course).

They are always on normal, except at times of War or other Crisis when fuel is at a premium.

Well at this point the only feasible attack option on the Japanese mainland is by Stratos Jet, unless you could somehow teleport, so I am working to protect that flaw.

Which, oddly enough, would make the laser pretty useless...you could just fire the diamond and blow up a planet.

 

 

Retech, P-Jets(The Engine) are just that Awesome...As well as being fairly simple.

 

Anyway the SSS(Swiss Science Ship) Switzerland was hoisted into orbit by 12 P-Jets and a number of Stratos Jets boosting it as far as the Stratos-Sphere. The SSS Switzerland will be arriving at Mars on the 21st of Febuary 2023(21st of Febuary 2010). Carried aboard are 20 Swiss Bio-Scientists, 10 Swiss Physics-Scientists, 10 Swiss Chemistry-Scientists, 6 Swiss Pilots/Engineers, as well as 6 Russians, 6 Scandinavians and 6 Australians.

Italian special forces have destroyed various important sites in Algeria in a co-ordinated attack at 0500 this morning, and with the Algerian government in disarray the main army has marched in.
