Well considering that the country is united, and it far more stable than it was, releasing South Korea poses more of a threat to NK than China or Russia...

Japan proposes that it become close allies with the reunified Korea, as long as Korea tones down its nuclear weapons talk (like they can go ahead with it, but not make it so blatantly obvious and state every few years that they were making a bomb). Japan states to the rest of the world that even though Korea and the rest of the world may not see eye to eye, they should at least reach out.

Alliance should probably be accepted actually, south korea liked Japan, so some of the influence is in there.

The Australian-Russian exosuit project will not join with the Japan-Scandinavia one. I've said that several times, and you know how I say "Give everyone ubers, and they stop being ubers."

 

A large chunk of my R&D budget is in the exosuits, but Australia has a much lower budget than Russia, so putting the same amount in isn't really fair. Plus, I basically gave you the already completed exosuit, now we're just improving it, so yeah.
