New Sig Coming soon!

ifu mean pxel sigs they are all done in paint, not photoshop, abstract and grudge are done in photoshop

You can use and program that has the capacity to minipulate single pixels and color to create pixelart, I personaly believe paint to be the most inneficient program in almost all areas.

Inefficient!?! Then why do I use it. I'm working on a signature atm.

I'm not drunk! You wouldn't dare call me drunk if i was sober!

inneficient meaning it don't have the capability of making a really good sig,

paint is ok for regular pixel but it gets really limited when you start doing something with more detail. it's like trying to make a masterpeice with just 3 colors.

*looks around* i dont see ANY sigs that YOUVE made. All your wanting to do is get an outline and colour it in, thats not YOUR sig, thats someone ELSES sig, ur just colouring it in. I can do a good outline and sketch but i SUCK at shading. People have good points and bad points, u just got to practise.

I kind of agree with that.

I am by no means the best line work artists or shader in tip.it, but atleast I do all my own work on my sigs and even if they aren't to everyones taste or the best ever they r my work and are gradually improving.

Just getting someone else to do the bit you can't do will never improve u

i mean i had never dun bg characters, night skys, blonde hair or d-hide before my current sig. but i looked at others, consdiered my style and juts went for it experimenting to see what looked gd. It may not be the best of all tht listed above, but I got furture reerence to build on etc.

So moral is really true - if you don't intended to atleast try it all ur self to improve urself theres not muhc point in doing it as 'work'

and v gd moral it is that applies to many things

bah you made me get all lecturing muts stop typing now...

...seriously can't stop

Either because you like inneficeiency or don't know about any other programs.

I have to agree althouhg paint can be used it is most useless

Basically any other program offers better colour selection, simpilier zooming etc etc

I have never ever got along with paint, I found it gorsely useless even for my stickman animations, whihc top be fair the picture work isn't exactly the best the only real talent invovled is the animating process etc. So to try pixelling in there i think would be suicide to any but the most patient and thoose who have exsisted using paint previously so are used to it

who are u talking about?

the maker of the thread.... which is exactly what hes asking for, if you cant *start* one then you wouldnt be able to finish one, you want a free sig, and dont want to sound like your begigng, which you are

New Sig Coming soon!

can anyone tell me why everyone is pointlesly discussing the "uses " of paint..

paint does not rule the monkey kingdom neither does it rule the sewer.

as for the topic.. either buy your freaking pixel sig or make it yourself.

paint rules (no layers pwns you)

pshhh....pixel artists just liek to brag that they made their fancy pixels all in paint...and therefore are more leet. (i'd no, i used to make pixels :P )

anyways, in answer to the original question...paint imo is lacking in many areas. it doesnt have layers...colors are a hassel to make yourself...but it does have all the necessary components to make a pixel sig. i suggest using graphics gale in conjunction with some of paint's features (such as the left/right click 2-color ability--very useful for fixing linework).

this is off topic-ish....could some1 plz tell me if adobe photoshop and illustrator CS are well suited for pixels? if so, what features do they have that graphics gale/MS paint do not have? thnx

contrary to what most people think, it is infact possible to make a pixel in photoshop, using the pencil tool. it has may bonuses such as layers, better zooming and easy colour selection. also if terley uses paint, i think it is as good as anything, as he is one of the most respected pixelers here in my eyes.
